DISGUSTING FOOD & SERVICE (WILL NEVER ATTEND AGAIN)
Upon arrival we waited in a cramped foyer with another couple. They were leaving because they were there for 15 without even a hi from anyone. We continued to wait then I finally asked someone to be seated. Incidentally, 10 minutes later we are seated in a tiny little place upstairs where we had to move ourselves because it was so cramped.
At this point my boyfriend was irritated with the casual uncaring behavior of the server and wanted to leave. All the research he did were LIES! The picture are deceiving, giving the impression of a nice more posh environment. The reviews may be for some people but we had nothing close to decent edible food.
Anyways, we stayed out of respect and waited another 30 minutes for a server to bring starter drinks. EVERYTHING WE ATE WAS DISGUSTING! The coffee was cold and had lots of grains inside, his smoothie was bland and white with no banana or strawberry inside. Then we order, I had a dried up waffle that was hard enough to hurt someone with, the chocolate spread on it was not Nutella as advertised but some cheap chocolate. My boyfriend got the tuna sandwich which had no tuna inside and no vegetables! We spent $50 dollars and it was robbery.
We are frequent outside diners, we love all different foods and places and considering the reviews this place was nothing close to what we expected. We have been to some terrible food and restaurant experiences [even some with terrible servers] but we have never been so disregarded before. The food was just awful and the sad part was downstairs there were 14 females [supposed to be servers] who did nothing accept take our money as kept asking how was the food!

Read moreI stumbled upon BiBi Richmondhill Cafe while on a business trip to Toronto, all the way from Quebec. This hidden gem of a Persian bakery is nestled right in the heart of Toronto, and I must say, it was well worth the drive. It was my second visit in as many years, and it did not disappoint. The owner, who I believe was running the show that day, along with her staff, were simply delightful. They greeted me with warm smiles and genuine friendliness, making me feel right at home. It reminded me of my younger days, when I was a bit of a troublemaker with a sweet tooth for all things candy and chocolate, especially those Persian delights. The atmosphere at BiBi's is something special.
You step inside, and it's like walking into a cozy little corner of Tehran right here in Toronto. The air is filled with the heavenly scent of freshly baked goods, and the decor is simple yet charming, with a touch of traditional Persian flair.
Now, let me tell you about the pastries. They were just right—not too sweet, not too dry, and definitely not greasy. Each bite transported me back to my childhood. The Persian-style roulette was a standout—absolutely amazing.
But the pistachio roulette? Oh, that was the star of the show for me. Rich in flavor, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of crunch from those beautiful pistachios. The best part? It’s all so affordable, and the service is quick, so you’re not left waiting long to get your hands on these delicious treats.
A big thank you to the whole team at BiBi Richmondhill Cafe from a satisfied customer all the way from Quebec. I’ll be sure to make this a regular stop whenever...

Visiting family and friends in Toronto from Vancouver , asked my brother who resides in Richmond hill since 1996 for a reputable pastry shop recommendation . Stopped by this place and purchase a mocha cake for $50 . Took it to my brother's house ,we started enjoying the test with the until all of a sudden a mushy sour pickle smelling portion appeared with a harsh smell right in the middle ... well you guessed it we throw up and throw 70% of it in the garbage bin !
Went back a week later assuming it happens and ordered a Cappuccino to drink while waiting to get a big box of a special Persian treat called Zoolbia and Bamieh . I ordered for 80% Zoolbia all around in the box with less than 20% Bamieh in the middle and I made sure the serving girl understood it and she confirmed it , well you read my mind again ,yes I was cheated because she did it exactly the other way around while I was siting drinking the so called Cappuccino , why cheated because Iranian know that Bamieh probably 3 times or more heavier and more profitable to the owner so one assumes that this common practice is directed by the ownership( realized it when I got to a friend house).
By the way ,the Cappuccino was flat ( I rather go to my least favorite coffee shop Tim Horton drinking a regular coffee ) . That day 21/04/2019 I asked to see a manger , there were non available !
If you wish to be charged extra and not be cheated with cheap quality coffee do yourself a favor and please don't pay a visit ! The secret is in the taste only not...
