Read more3 Coins is a typical diner with only breakfast and a lunch menu. The food is quite good and cheap for brunch (compared to other chain brunch places). The portions were decent for the price (I couldn't finish my home fries and the pancakes). The reviews are mostly about their bennies (and I love bennies) so of course I got that. Also tried the Big Breakfast which includes bacon, sausage, ham, three eggs, home fries, pancake, and toast (big breakfast indeed).
The poached eggs were cooked in a mould so it had that perfect round shape. I asked for medium poached and it came just as I ordered it (which was great). The hollandaise was surprisingly not that bad and I did enjoy it. The home fries were regular but home fries are always good.
It's standard; the bacon and fries were great, the others, not so much. The eggs were cooked over easy. The pancake was okay, just regular pancake (not that fluffy though).
