Dorchin, a recently opened restaurant in the neighborhood, offers a great variety of dishes. They come from Mashhad, Iran, which is famous for its shishlik, and they make the best shishlik kebob in the GTA. We tried many dishes, but these were my favorite ones in order:

Shishlik. The best ever in GTA. Shishlik is a type of kebob made from marinated lamb, typically cut into large chunks as you see in the images. Dandeh Kabob - This dish consists of ribs and is a bit oily, but if you love meat on the bone, it’s a great option. Be sure to ask them not to add hot sauce! I prefer my kabob pure, without any unusual sauces. Mahicheh - A lamb shank dish, served only on weekends. Koobideh Kabob - It was delicious. Chenjeh Kabob. It was good but not the best. Tahdig and Fesenjoon - I didn’t like their fesenjoon as it was too sweet. It should be balanced in flavor (sweet and sour).

Their prices are very competitive, and the owner is eager on conversing with customers to improve their business. They also have delicious traditional Persian ice cream - try their saffron ice cream.
