Wendy's — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

The WORST customer experience in the world. The only reason I put up with their terrible excuse of a service is because my daughter is obsessed with the nuggets and I'm a "regular". On more than one occasion they have forgotten you up front after placing an order at the drive through when it isn't ready and then being unapologetic. Today was a 100 times worse. I get to the payment window after placing an order and waiting in their slow moving line after 5 minutes to find out the employee hasn't punched in my order. I stay calm and drive to the front waiting for my order instead of giving her a few words on irresponsible order taking. After 12 minutes of patiently waiting I open the front door of the restaurant and draw attention as I can't go in with a child still in the car inquiring about my order. They ignore me. I call the restaurant asking for a manager to come out with my order to speak to me and get told he can't leave. I ask to escalate and he hangs up on me. After another 4-5 minutes an employee shows up with my order. Now I've been waiting for my food over 20 minutes (fresh nuggets take 4.5 minutes for them to prepare I was told). I ask the employee to send the manager and they ignore me. I call the store he keeps rejecting my call. Now furious I drive to the drive through and demand that I wouldn't move till he comes out. The initial order taker comes out and I demand an apology and she says I couldn't be doing what I'm doing. I yell and demand for manager and he says I will not give you the number of the manager because you are being rude to me and my staff. Ridiculous! I will ensure I destroy this store's reputation on every social media. These people need to learn some customer service skills. The manager was a tall built pony tail man with glasses. My friend and I visited this wendys last night for the first time since it opened. The food is standard Wendy's food. Which is to be expected from all fast food. My issue lays in the fact that we waited over 8 minutes for a value chicken sandwich. During our meal we were approached by two employees (Andreas and Robert) Robert the manager approached us with crossed arms in a defe dive manner. Andreas has initially asked us to leave as they were closing and we gladly agreed to. My friend raised the issue that we may have been out of there sooner had we not have been forced to wait 8 whole minutes for "fast food". The manager (Robert) started being dfiant and belligerant, even threatening to call the police and have us trespassed from the property.
