A&W Canada — Restaurant in Richmond

I didn’t even want to give them even one star. It my first time when i had such a bad experience at an A&W. Huge disappointment on customer service. We had two coupons on a mobile app where A&W offered us one coupon for two teens and two chubby for 11.99. But when we showed the coupon to the staff they said that they dont accept those coupons. I explained him that these coupons are not expired and there was nothing mentioned on the coupon that the coupons are not accepted at that particular location. On the other hand coupons were given by the head office of A&W and i think that a A& W should always honour their coupons. Secondly, We asked him and paid extra to add lettuce and onion in our chubby burgers and when we took back the burger, their was no sign of them being sorry about messing our order up.

At end I would like to say that if A&W donot honour their coupons then they should not hand them out to just attract customers. Also i am attaching the receipt and the coupons thing which i showed him, Please respond back with a reply. AND you really need to train your employees at this location and teach them about CUSTOMER SERVICE. The name of the staff...

It's a raining day and not many guests were in wait. I was there for a to-go order. Food counter attendant's colleague, another lady behind the servicing attendant, fetched my order packed inside bag, without asking names first, to another seated table guest in waiting, that guest looks surprised and hesitated, touched the rim of the bag but luckily not touched food before the first attendant stopped it. However, when the 2nd attendant retrieved the bag, she attempted to give it directly to me. I asked them to put food in a new bag, they gave me a cold look. It's the food safety concerns. I was there last night 10:00 pm. 4 staffs there with black face. All of then are East Indian. They prefer chatting loudly with their own language all the time in public that I think it's rude. They don't care the food is ready to serve the customer. The people behind me got their meal so I asked a lady for my order. She turned around and pick the food to me which is ready and sitting there. I told her why your people prefer chatting each other but not serving your customer.
