If I could give this restaurant a 0 star review I definitely would! I am shocked by the positive reviews and high ratings after recently dining at this restaurant. It is clear these reviews are from friends or were paid for by the restaurant. For reference our bill was nearly 300$ without beverages or alcohol, we ordered a large variety of disappointing dishes.

CONS: First of all the restaurant is ugly with cheap chairs/tables/utensils/cutlery and thoughtless decor that added nothing to the ambience of the restaurant. The service did not match the prices of the menu. There was no (ZERO) effort to connect with any of us at any point during our evening. Dirty share plates were left on our tables and no fresh utensils were provided between courses. I stacked dirty plates to make space for our entrees. Now lets talk about the FOOD. The mushroom soup was like disgusting texture-less brown mush comparable to a no name brand canned soup. The prawns used in the seafood pasta and truffle chili prawns were flavourless and the texture of cheap frozen prawns - rubbery and gross. The brussel sprout salad was like a cold grab-and-go grocery store deli salad with basic salad dressing. We did not try pizza. The seafood pasta had decent flavour with terrible quality prawns, and obviously dry pasta. We ordered the striploin and confit duck - both came with unseasoned and/or unflavoured veggies. The vegetables with the different dishes were exactly the same - a single, peeled steamed carrot, (canned?) baby corn and a couple slices of raw pepper (yellow and red). The confit potatoes potatoes tasted like nothing, and the duck came with the PLAINEST steamed rice (?!?!?!?!). The miso black cod was a thin piece of fish with terrible skin, sitting in what tasted and looked like boiled vegetable water with soggy overcooked asparagus, the same terrible potato wedges, and some bok choy. The food was worse than food I have eaten in a hospital. I didnt dare ask for the dessert menu. I wouldn't even bring home the leftovers for my dog.

PROS: There are none!!!

This restaurants lacks any effort and creativity that you expect to see in most restaurants these days. The prices are absolutely outrageous for what is served.

I wish I had read honest reviews before spending so much here on a terrible dinner. I did not speak up at the time, as we were celebrating an event and I didn't want to ruin the evening, big mistake.

Potentially the worst meal I have...

This was the weirdest so-called "Margherita" pizza I've ever had. And not in a good way.

I was taken here by family and didn't know what to expect, except I was told they have great pizza. We got 2 pizzas and everyone else with us got pasta, and they all enjoyed the duck leg pasta.

The scallops were small and slightly overcooked, but not bad. I am so over bacon with scallops as it almost always overpowers the delicate taste of scallop, and this is no exception. Lamb rack was small but nicely done.

The pizza was basically ruined by the nonsensical addition of balsamic vinegar or some sort of syrup, I'm not sure. It made it sickly sweet and nothing like a margherita pizza which should only be cheese, tomato sauce, fresh basil and maybe a little garlic. Call it something else if you're going to add all sorts to it.

I understand that they do creative fusion pizzas like pork cheek or durian and that's wonderful if that's what someone likes, but if you're calling it a margherita, it should be one. Not full of unwelcome surprises. There is no mention of balsamic vinegar or sundried tomatoes on the menu! There were no grape tomatoes. And basil was almost nonexistent in tiny pieces. It lost all the big herbal basil flavour it should have. As you can see from my photo, it was nothing like they show on their menu online. So, beware.

Essentially, I would order the pizzas very carefully as the menu cannot be trusted to be entirely accurate. The other dishes all seem fine though.

This alone usually would lead me to 2-stars, but it's a small business, and the server and kitchen were very accommodating for food sensitivities.

Service was efficient and good. Except she shoved 7 slices of pizza into a small square takeaway cube, not a pizza box. It squished all the pizza together, all folded and messy. I was unable to eat it the next day after being in the fridge like that. If a guest is taking home 7 slices of an 8 slice pizza, give them a pizza...

UPDSTE: I appreciate the reply. In response, I did come 3 to 4 months ago and had a note reminding myself to review it since it was too memorable/surprising of an experience.

I was here for dinner. As I see most better reviews had lunch here instead.

Sunmary: Food has bug and lack quantity and quality for the price range. Server is lost.

Price: 3/5 passing. It is at a 60 to 80 dollar per person range. Quite normal pricing for almost-fine-dine experience. However, nor the food and the experience was worth that price.

I see that lunch is around 30 dollars, that is how much my experience might be worth.

Experience: 2/5 bad. The atmosphere is "cozy". They are definitely not going for an atmosphere fitting for their price range. The server sounded quite clueless, having to ask the kitchen staff often about the menu.

We had a table of 6. Since the menu isn't especially huge, we were able to taste most the dishes on it. The service was slow.

The scratched up cups that they used already gave me a slight red flag about their food... The cups they used are not what I would expect from the price range.

Food: 1/5 bad. Food quality is not worth 60 dollar. Food is definitely at 30 dollar range. Since we had enough people to try multiple dishes, I believe only the lamb and the fish were okay. The rest lacks quality and quantity. Especially the side veggies, they look sad. Worst comes to worst I discovered a bug towards the end of my fish dish which ended my appetite. I really hope that was just a one off.

After the long 30 min+ wait, I was treated with food that lacks quality and quantity with a bug. Knowing I was paying 60+ per person for this, I was unhappy about everything at this restaurant.

The photos attached are the lamb and half finished the fishes dish we had. As you can see the lamb is fair and the vegetables are not good looking with...
