Edit: three weeks later. It gets one star. If I could go into the negatives, I would.
I tried to be gentle in my first review but now I can comfortably say this place sucks and I sincerely hope they go out of business immediately.
I complained to corporate last time and received 15$ worth of coupons which is half of what I paid for my first meal. Went to give them another chance today.
Staff are incompetent and do not know how to use the computer system, they are also deaf and hardly speak English and fail to understand that “plain” means “no toppings”.
The coupons I received from corporate have no expiry date and no limit on use or any other notes. They are simply 5$ off.
The cashier tells me I can only use one per transaction. No. If that were the case, it would say it on the coupon. The coupon bears the customer relations managers signature so it was obviously intended for exactly what it says.
Cashier insists I can only use one. So I say fine, split the transaction and use one coupon per transaction even though I lose more money this way.
Then she tells me I need to pay tax.
Coupon for 5$. Order costs 4.19$ and I need to pay tax on top of that? PASS. It’s meant to be covered.
This was meant to compensate for my AWFUL first experience with them. Instead of making up for it, they made it worst.
I wasted gas and precious time getting here to leave with nothing but a foul mood.
Stay away from these guys! I hope the business fails.
—— First time to FatBurger and reeeaallllyyy disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. Service was extremely slow for a fast food type place while they had multiple staff members in the kitchen and with the manager assisting (which is nice).
Hot dog was very dry and overcooked. I understand they slice it to cook it evenly and that's okay, I do the same unless I'm grilling but it had a cardboard like texture so it was overdone.
Burger patty was also overcooked and too dry as well as burnt in some places. For a $10 burger, it's too small and McDonald's does a better burger unfortunately.
I really wanted to be impressed and was looking forward to it but am grossly disappointed to have spent over $30 for this.
Wouldn't recommend and likely wouldn't return but I hope things improve so other people have a more...
Read moreWe visited this mid-range burger chain for a casual meal, and overall, the experience was just okay — nothing particularly impressive, but nothing bad either. The restaurant has a clean and casual setup typical of a modern burger chain.
All the burgers and fries are made to order, and the food came out fresh and hot, which was nice. We tried the Double Cheeseburger and the Hawaiian Burger, both of which were decent in size and flavor, though not especially memorable. The curly fries were crispy and tasty, and the milkshake was thick and creamy — clearly made with real ice cream — but a little too sweet for our liking.
During our visit, they had a free kids’ meal promotion for the back-to-school season, which is a thoughtful touch for families. However, there was a minor annoyance with the online ordering system, which mistakenly charged an extra $3.99 for large fries even though fries were supposed to be included in the meal combo. Hopefully, that glitch will be fixed soon.
Overall, the food quality and service were reasonable, and the restaurant delivered what you’d expect from a casual burger chain. It’s a fine option if you’re nearby and craving a quick burger, but probably not one we’d go out of our...
Read moreSO DELICIOUS! I will NEVER eat Burger King again!
Sure it costs a little more, but that's because of the QUALITY! This is NOT McDonald's or worse...Burger King, where your previously frozen burger patty sat in a tray for an hour before it was served to you.
Whenever I eat Burger King I feel bad afterwards, guilty and bloated, but after eating at Fat Burger I feel guilt free and happy! Especially when I order a Shake MMMmmm! SO GOOD! If you haven't tried them yet, they're delicious! and unlike others, Fat Burger uses Real Hand Scooped Ice Cream and Real Strawberries! not some flavored/dyed corn syrup.
If you come here, don't be a cheap * and order the Beefy, it's not what Fat Burger is about. Get a Baby Fat if you don't want to eat much or just want to save a couple bucks, but if you're looking for the Fat Burger Experience get a FAT BURGER or a specialty burger like the Ultimate BBQ Burger, Bacon & Cheddar Burger or Cajun Chicken Burger if you're not a fan of Beef.
And finally, order the Yam Fries or Nacho Fries as part of your combo, just be warned, you'll be dining for two as they're big burgers and healthy servings of fries!
Now...
