I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. The restaurant's complete disregard for pre-orders and their lack of communication with customers is beyond disappointing.

I recently decided to give this pizza joint a try. I placed an order in the afternoon, excited about their pizza promotion. My scheduled pickup time was 6:30 pm. However, when my father arrived to pick up the pizzas, he was informed that it would take at least 2 hours before our pizza would even be made. Thankfully, there are other great dining options nearby. I couldn't help but wonder if I had pre-paid for my pizzas, would we still be subjected to such an agonizing wait?

The next morning I called them to understand why they had accepted my order when they were clearly overwhelmed with previous orders. To my surprise, they admitted to being backed up but offered no explanation for their earlier oversight. When I inquired about any possible solutions to rectify the situation, their best offer was 10% off my next pizza order.

After reading through other reviews, it's apparent that we aren't the only customers who have had to endure long delays due to the greed/mismanagement. What's even more concerning is that some reviewers were told that HellCrust would honor their promotion, whereas I was offered a mere 10% discount. Something certainly appears to...

Normally I don't write reviews unless I find the food really tasty and to my liking. I've tried Hellcrust pizza twice now and each time their pies were delicious. 1st time I had belly of the beast and Hawaiian. Both were packed quite well with toppings. It was a good spread. Both were great. 2nd time I had their beefy crunch pizza and that was very good 👍. I also really enjoy their thin crust style. It's not too heavy feeling but it's quite filling. Also I am not a fan of thick crust pizzas and Hellcrust is the perfect thin and crunchy crust I like. The atmosphere of the pizza joint is also quite cozy. It's a vibrant joint for pick me ups or sit down meals. Service is also quite good, both times I ordered by phone and came for pick up. The employees over the phone and at the location were all friendly and attentive. Hellcrust has for sure become a local favorite of mine. When I went to grab it, it felt light and it was the first thing I mentioned to my wife (first time I had an initial impression like this of a pizza box before). When we got home to eat, it was a most unimpressive pizza (sorry for only a partial picture; we didn't consider reviewing it until we got through most of it).

While we did get this during their anniversary promotion of $13.99 for 3 toppings on a large pizza (which seemed like a great deal), they truly skimped on the toppings to make it happen, as you can see in the picture (we got mushrooms, spinach and pulled pork).

If these skimpy toppings are a result of the promotional price and not how they regularly are, I'd still have to wonder if this was a good idea considering this is the first time I've been to Hellcrust, and after this initial experience, the last time.
