I book my reservation two days ago to make sure I have spot. Strongly recommend book your spot rather than walk-in. We are two people to be served, it is quickly react and respond politely and helpful. We have ordered 3-4 times because we never came here to try.
First round, ordered a few items. One full order of Spicy Shadu(beef tripes), taste with different flavours as what we thought. Indeed, inside the jar has other food with those tripes, which turned them with extra herbs flavours. 7/10 I would plate. Signature Lamb (10/10): you have to order unless you donāt want lamb. Four parts of lamb meat crosses together in one piece, after the perfect non-skill required automatic grill device, you will get the best results. No worry, if you donāt know when is ready, waiter/waitress will come and help before you ask. This is why I mark them with 5-star rating, if you have totally no idea how it works, just let them know, and they will handle it. One more thing, the drink must ordered is the Sour Plum Juice! Over 12 ingredients herbs fruits cooked served hours to make this great refresher drinks. I hear from friend who drank 3 jars in one meal, you cannot miss this 40% sweetness level in a 25% level sour drink. Stimulates your tongue feel hungry and reduce the over spicy or salty food. All in all, food has been fully prepared, just waiting you put on the automatic grill shelf. Warm hearted serving customers let you happy and comfortable. Good for all kinds of party or dining even a date.
PS: I was meeting a classmate from primary school, over 19 years have not meet. This place is called Golden Time, which is perfect explanation for us to meet ago. Also, in Chinese, é£äŗ幓 means āthose yearsā which matched our meeting purpose old...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMultiple things were wrong when my partner and I visited. The first thing to go wrong, frankly we should have left afterwards, was what seems to be piece of sponge in our cheese corn. It took my many times to try to flag down one of the two servers to bring this to their attention. The corn was sent back and we refused to have a new one made. When it was sent back, the server didn't even apologize or anything. The second err was our bread was forgotten, and we had to ask for it when we were almost finished our meal. After eating, my partner and I sat for well long enough that I had to get up and ask for the bill. When paying for the meal, I finally got an "apology", but it felt more like a dismissal as I was told it was because they were busy. I still paid for the $100 bill and left a tip, but this will unfortunately be my one and only time visiting here.
Admittedly though, the lamb and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited for the first time on a long weekend Sunday around 7 PM. We made a reservation just in case, which turned out to be a good idea because it got quite busy a few minutes later. It's a small location so a reservation is a good idea if you don't want to wait. I wouldnt take a group of more than 6 people.
Each table is equipped with a rotating grill for the skewers, a selection of seasonings, and a little water dispenser with lemon and cucumber.
We ordered a variety of skewers: lamb, pork belly, salmon belly, beef, Wagyu, honey and spicy chicken wings. All of it was delicious! The price was decent for the quantity and quality of food. They also give you an ice cream desert at the end.
I'd want to go back with more friends so we can try more variety and items, like the fried rice and hot pot.
We spent about $30 per person after tip and left feeling satisfied but...
