I’m moving my rating from 2* to 5* now that the rice issue on the sushi has been resolved—it’s done perfectly.
This time, I ordered both a sashimi plate for $14.50 and a sashimi roll lunch set combo for $20. I initially chose the tuna sashimi, but it looked a bit unappetizing and pale, so I requested it to be switched to a salmon sashimi, and they happily obliged. Boy, the sashimi slice was huge. I was told a skilled new chef has replaced the previous one that did the undercooked rice, and it shows.
Great value. This would be back now on my go-to lunch spots during workdays from now on!
I love this place. Unfortunately, the sushi rice was undercooked. Rice was tad crunchy on some grains. When you look at the rolls, grains have whiter colours on some grains.
I won’t hesitate to come back and try something different due to location and might change this review if things are better on...

I did not receive unagi, but what I believe is cuttlefish instead - I would've gone back but I was already back at work. The yam roll was just yam, which was disappointing considering most places add cucumber, but that's totally fine because they didn't state they include cucumber.
