Horrible experience today folks! First time here after moving to Richmond. Rather unfresh produce selection- was covered in fruit flies.
Today, there was a middle-aged Man working as their Produce Clerk. Extremely rude and unprofessional. While searching through some remaining broccoli heads, I noticed this Produce Clerk Man with a cart filled with fresh broccoli heads just standing there, awkwardly beside me. Courteously, I asked if he wanted in my section to replenish the stock with fresher heads and he said I'm not here to restock the fresh ones. I'm here for another reason. After walking away displeased, I went over to get some Zucchinis. While sifting through the pile of Zucchini's he yelled out "EXCUSE ME! EXCUSE ME!", YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SIFT THROUGH THE PRODUCE LIKE THAT. YOU MUST PICK EACH ONE UP AND GENTLY PUT THEM BESIDE ONE ANOTHER LIKE THIS(AS HE SHOWED ME). OTHER SHOPPERS WERE CURIOUSLY LOOKING AT HIM LIKE HE WAS A DERANGED MAN AND THAT'S WHEN I NOTICED HE CHANGED HIS TONE.
Shocked, I said excuse me? I said if I can't sift through my produce in this store than you can keep my produce basket then and walked away. My Husband and I were just shocked and in disbelief customers could be treated like this while they shop there. As a customer, I want fresher produce and I want to be able to sift through my selections as I please. This is my free right as a consumer.
BUYER BEWARE. YOU WILL BE SCOLDED AND YELLED AT FOR SIFTING THROUGH THEIR PRODUCE. BEWARE OF THIS MIDDLE AGED PRODUCE CLERK MAN. EXTREMELY RUDE AND...

Read moreI am a tourist and I came to Canada for a trip. I was going to buy fried chicken at L.A.CHICKEN next door. I passed by this supermarket and thought it was very special, so I went in and visited one. I found that this place is very similar to an Indian supermarket. Since I have been to India and have many Indian friends, I happily wanted to take pictures and share them with them. Unexpectedly, a suspected manager came and questioned me with a bad attitude. Why do you take pictures, I replied that I want to share with my friend, he actually told me with a bad attitude "we have surveillance cameras in our store" I can't believe that taking pictures in Canadian supermarkets will be treated like a criminal, this is really a Bad experience, gave me a bad...
