We ordered one large kiwi pineapple banana smoothie and one medium kiwi pineapple banana smoothie, one large fries and a chocolate sundae. End up the fries is in small to medium amount which only filled half of the fries box! Further The two smoothies that we received were in the same size, the large smoothie was still have more than one centimetre before hitting the cup line near the top. When my son talked to the staff asking him to top up the large cup, he grabbed the two smoothies (one large and one medium size), and pour the smoothie out from the medium cup to the large cup to top up the large smoothie! What kind of attitude is that? We are not beggar who ask for free food but have paid full price for what we are entitled to receive from the merchant! When the staff passed the “adjusted” smoothies back to us, the female staff who was standing next to the Asian young staff who was dealing with our request looked surprised by what the Asian staff had done to the cups. This is a terrible customer service experience that we ever experienced at McDonald’s. We will never come here again unless the team manager look into this and take appropriate action to a better training to their team! We ordered ahead via McD's mobile app & pulled up at curbside parking stall to wait for our food. We input our stall number & the app showed they were preparing our order. After 15+ min, I reluctantly went inside (having to bring our 5 yr old w/ me through the pouring rain) to find out if our order was indeed coming. The counter person found our printed order right away, but it had not been started. The server apologized & said it would be started soon, so I went back to car to wait again. After several minutes, I called the restaurant so I wouldn't have to go in again to confirm that our order has truly been started & the person on the call, seemingly the manager, said they'd had a power outage & didn't have any mobile orders contrary to what I'd already confirmed. Once I explained my order was physically there, she wrote my order down to check on it. While it did indeed arrive shortly thereafter by the original server I spoke to, it didn't take away from the fact that there was no back up system when the main system breaks down. Usually service is quite prompt but they do get a lunch rush and it can extend the wait time for quite a bit.
Since it's facing the airport, there's not much tall building around so this restaurant gets lots of warm sunlight. A limited amount of USB charging port is available. Wifi speed is about 14 Mbps download.
Not a kids concentrated area so the freebies for kids such as drawing paper, color crayons, balloons have decent availability.
There's this manager who's energetic and I like his attitude towards work and customer service. He seems to recognize many regular customers and they like to have a short chat with him. One time I screwed up my one time use only mobile app coupon, he reached me offering help. He pulled his personal phone out and scan that coupon code for me. That's exceptional customer service....
