I was at the oval for a major sporting event that drew massive crowds for the weekend. I felt bad for the staff because it's a small place with only so much room for people to work in. They were overrun and seemed badly disorganized. The weight was long. There were no sleeves or lids left for the coffee. I watched somebody argue with a customer at length after only three of the four drinks they ordered had been made rather than fixing it and getting back to helping out the rest of their customers. I was attending an event at the Richmond Oval and wanted some lunch. I ordered a very basic bowl of soup and a slice of loaf. She rang it in and I tapped. Upon being given my receipt I discovered I’d been double charged for my soup. I brought this “accident” to her attention, and was refunded the cost of one soup.
