We were nervous we were going to have a bad experience here. We got there right when it opened for dinner service, and it was freezing in there as they didn't have the heat on. They turned on the heat and let it take its course to warm up the restaurant. They did bring us over some hot tea, kept checking and apologizing to us for the cold restaurant. From that point forward I believe it was the manager that came and checked on us often to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything. Overall, the food had similar favours if you ordered the bbq skewers so the key is mix it up a bit and order different items, like their steamed menu items etc. For me the most surprising item I tried was a bbq sweet toast. I saw someone order it and watched them enjoy every bite. When I took a bite of the toast...for me it was like eating toast with cotton candy infused in it. I was not expecting that and it was definitely the highlight for me. The manager made up for the evening with the extra service and I like the decor and theme of...
Read moreThis place has been our favourite— it is a deep core memory to eat Mr.Beigai’s skewers. It’s a shame that people might miss out due to the low rating but, give Mr. Beigai a chance 😭
Food: The way they season and cook the meat makes it all worth coming back whenever we’re craving good skewers! Very flavourful
Atmosphere: The interior is nice and very spacious! I like the overall design, lighting and feel of the restaurant.
Service: At first, yes, they could maybe speak Chinese to you if you look like you’re Chinese 😂 but, the workers can speak English and can understand you— please just be patient with them
Price: Can be pricey but, good for sharing— my boyfriend and I love coming here 🥰 We typically order 2 servings of both lamb & beef kebabs with rice and a drink which costs us about $35...
Read moreBe prepared that one waitress would stop you and demand more tips, ruining your could've been pleasant evening after spending $$ + tips in their restaurant. This is my 2nd visit but I'll probably never visit again. Tips, also called "gratuity", are based on the goodwill of the customer, because the customer is grateful for your good service--good service by the customer’s standards, not the waiter’s. Waiters do not have a right to a particular amount of tip--unless that tip is negotiated before the meal is ordered. It's quite stupid to sabotage your business like this by allowing such behaviour from your waitress, losing customers for such petty money. To the waitress: if you don’t get enough from your employer, negotiate a better pay rate, rather than imposing it...
