This Tinos ORIGINALLY opened in 1978 in Coquitlam at Burquitlam Plaza. It was owned and operated by good old JP and his great family. He came up with the name Tinos, the slogan The Little Place That's Big In Taste, he came up with the menu design and layout. And he made some bad*** food. Loaded pizza with incredible flavour. From pasta to pizza to whatever....this place was awesome. Super busy on the weekends too. I'm so lucky I got to work my first job for JP from 88 until 91 when he sold. He taught me to cook everything just the way he wanted it. I worked for the 2 guys ( "B" and "C" ) who bought it from him for a bit too. JP always told me that he had a secret recipe for his dishes. He was right. As soon as he moved on and these guys took over the quality was gone. Business dropped. They made OK pizza but when you had real Tinos pizza, they guys couldn't even compare. Any way maybe a few years after I left they moved it out to Richmond. They already had a place out there. Bridgeport Pizza or something like that. I think maybe they kept it or merged with this one. Recently I figured I would try them out. Looking at the menu, they still have almost the same layout. The pizza numbers are even unchanged. Even the artwork is the same on the menu, the font. Everything. It's just a little hole in the wall now. Not what you'd call a restaurant. One thing definitely changed waaaaaay back though. The food. It tastes nothing like it originally did. This is just another hack job by a couple of guys who couldn't be creative enough to come up with their own ideas. They took a Wicked....wicked....wicked restaurant and just turned it into a joke. It's like Panago. You want real pizza now? San Remos in Poco. Loaded. ** I posted this review on trip advisor Jan 2017. Since then they changed the menu graphics. Only took you guys almost 30 years to stop riding JPs coat tails. The attached picture is 90% original from the 1978 menu. Graphics and all. Just a couple of items changed. They used it until almost 2020. Sorry guys, but they were a staple in our neighborhood, and you just stole an identity and try to call it yours.

Tried the ravioli and meatballs as well as the millionaire pizza. It was alright. The ravioli and meatballs tasted like chef boyardee from the can only upgraded with nice melted cheese and way bigger meatballs. The Millionaire pizza also just tasted like average economy style pizza. I found the quality and taste here comparable to a Panago or Pizza 73 and Pizza Hut level kinda thing. The garlic bread was good but again... Just garlic bread.

Old school pizza joint that if you grew up in Richmond you’ve are probably very familiar with. Easily choose the pizza here over chains like Pizza Hut or dominos. You get way more toppings, it’s not even in same realm. Their baked lasagne is amazing too. Plus it’s in a good location and easy to park.

Have twice before walked into this establishment and twice walked out as a result of the surly girl at the front- why on earth would a restaurant owner employ a sullen, unfriendly person as your first point of contact-the mind boggles !! Would have been three strikes and you're out time as same girl was there, with the same surly countenance. Was with my daughter and was under pressure to stay.Ordered the family feast, incorporating pizza, lasagna, salad, garlic bread and sticks. All I can say about the pizza is that I'm still on the lookout for even an above average pizza in Richmond. It was the same run of the mill pizza-average dough, average toppings, average everything-make sure you're hungry when you eat it. . The lasagna started off pretty promisingly-nice cheese topping-grilled well but the deeper you got into the layers, the meat and sauce evaporated and what was left was an abundance of unappetizing noodles. The salad was a bunch of leaves with a few cucumbers and tomatoe plopped on top with some kind of unidentifiable dressing. The price point of $25 was reasonable enough. All in all think I will continue to...

Yes very nice place whit quality pizza and pop!! 👌 The place is clean and has a great atmosphere but why 4 star's and not 5... The owner who helped me has a communication problem and has no patience, been there 2 times this week. It's important, why? Coz the first rule of running a business is, the customer is always right 👉 everybody knows but you get 2 slices of pizza and 1 pop for choice for only 4.20 Can $ dollar. And the pizza is realy something special here. I go there tommorow for 2 slices and 1 pop. Very nice sportsbar in my block in Richmond BC DC, live only 5 minutes from Tino's Pizza 🍕 I would realy recommend it to anyone!! 👌 Berry Mac,...
