(Post -June 2022) Best Spot in town and Genuine Service My brother and I came to order some good old Al Basha shawarma.The staff were very polite and the owner was very welcoming. It gave such family community feels !On the side note the food was superb 🫰🙌 ( Fries - chicken plate - roast lamb)

I decided to head back to my favourite spot in Richmond. To order for my wife and I, Chicken Plate and Meat Meat (Chicken Lamb) Spicy*
When in doubt Uncle Sal's for some Friday Dinner. Now I never ever complain personally about their dishes. They provide amazing food and great service. Few minutes heading back home across the street , I noticed the portions was not what I remembered🤔. FYI I hate to be the guy and complain about the food where they never ever done me wrong as Patron of their establishment. I called and advise them about the portion of the meat we're not really evenly distributed.
The staff informed me to come back to the restaurant so they may rectify the order.
I returned in just a few minutes and told their staff " I really love your food and don't normally complain about anything" but brought back the take out order to show them. I then said " I don't know if there is a change in portion ? Or did I do something wrong as a regular 😂. Later in that situation we all laughed and one of the staff said "don't worry we got you , we apologize for the inconvenience during the busy rush.
One of the bosses and the staff were hella kind and just gave me what I wanted which was the portion of meat to be restored. I then said thank you so much and advised " I'll put another Google review for this awesome service" which is the least thing I can do!
One of the staff then said " put the review and say Musa GOT you ! ". I laughed and left with greater admiration for their team over for some portions but will forever be an Uncle Sal Customers.

Read moreI used to go here regularly but was completely turned off by the rude behavior of the eldest son. He started to treat me as if I was a bad customer for asking for some extra vegetables. I've never had a problem with this at Subway. Seriously, how much does some extra lettuce cost? I tried giving the place a second chance going back several times after being treated poorly. I had no problem at all with the youngest son or the father. I used to get tzatziki on my wrap instead of hummus and one day they suddenly started charging extra to add tzatziki and some other toppings. I assumed since I wasn't getting hummus (which was still free) a substitution would be free but unreasonably when it came time to add the sauce the eldest son refused to substitute one for the other and basically suggested he didn't care how I felt about it. This was the last straw and I haven't been back there since then. I noticed the guy actually started putting back the vegetables from my wrap into the containers he got them from when I refused to buy the wrap. This is definitely not the way someone should treat a customer. I was a loyal customer who used to go almost 5 times per week and the eldest son lost my business due to his behavior. One other thing I saw once which didn't impress me was when their cans of pop were loaded into the refrigerator they were taken out of their boxes and put on the dirty...
Read moreOne of the staff is consistently very rude. The management was notified several times with no outcome. The owner himself is a nice person, but during the evenings there is young man with beard he was rude on multiple occasion. Once he was given the order over the phone and when I went to pick up the order he was busy talking with other staff member. When I asked about my order he said its not ready yet and started lying about the time the order was placed. Although I showed him the time from my cell phone yet he would not keep quite and being very rude.
Yet again today my placed an order, I went to pick up the order and he started uttering loudly in front of at least dozen customers stating "tell your wife when she calls walk in customers are priority.
