Usually I have positive service. Today. Was exceptionally bad. Fair enough I came in at 5 to 6.. 5 min before close. I understand if people are tired, had a bad day ect. I asked very nicely for my loaf regular sliced. This takes 15 seconds. I was told it can't be cut. I asked why.. he preceeded to tell me "we shut down the slicing machine 10 min before closing.. I've been a baker and front staff. For this company Also thinking of coming back. You don't shut down the slicer,it stays dormant until activatded. Then told him "I used to work here, that's not how it works" he then told me... it's a new policy. I'm sorry have the rules changed or is this horrible...

The guy was sweeping and doors were open. Asked politely for a loaf of bread, the guy didn’t even look up, make eye contact, told my husband no he can’t. It’s baffling there were people waiting to load their Van with left over bread. I don’t understand the mentality here it’s pretty pathetic.
