Little Thai Place — Restaurant in Saanich

We asked for our order to be split into two boxes because we take our food to the movies. Paid the extra fee to have this done, and when we arrived with our food discovered one box about 3/4 full. It seemed like they just forgot to add the extra box so we called to check, they confirmed the kitchen forgot to split the box. Offered to credit us 50 cents for the inconvenience of forgetting to split our order. Paid $20 for a 3/4 full box of pad thai plus a tip.. not impressed.

EDIT: Since restaurant replied to my review. The issue does not lie with the mistake rather your solution proposed for the error. I found it rather discourteous that I was credited an inconsequential amount (50 cents, the amount I was charged for the extra box) and does not address the inconvenience it caused. This is compounded by the fact you were tipped $4 for service that essentially wasn't received. I don't normally like to leave a negative review especially since the food is delicious and quality is there but I felt personally insulted by this experience and hope it sheds some light on a better way to handle it next time for...

I went to this restaurant for lunch today. Ordered a chicken noodle soup, after waiting for 20 minutes I got up and ask the server whether she put in order or not, she said she did. After another 10 minutes, all three tables beside/around me that were coming after me, have all their food ready. I was not happy and I talk to the server when she’s refilling water for the table next to me, I told her I’ve been waited for over 30 minutes for the noodle soup. She went to the kitchen and bring me my soup and said:” don’t you see how busy here it is?” I’m like “but I’ve waited for over 30 mins and all the ones come in behind me had all the food.” Then she said” yes, but don’t you see how busy it is?” I was not happy at all, and I had experience working in restaurants which is much busier than this. There’s only like 3-4 more tables behind me and most of them have been taken care of when I get into the restaurant. Service is very bad And food...

Server is currently running g her butt off doing a fantastic job with a full restaurant. Had the duck soup last time which was great except for a lack of vegetable in the dish. Spring rolls are great and have ordered Pad Thai will be interesting to see which I end up with as I find the menu confusing with so many Pad Thai versions and then speaking with the server unless you point out what you want, you get may get something different. Again, after getting home have to reduce my review. I'm only 7 minutes away and there's no sauce. Pad Thai should be a dynamic richly combined sauce. Felt like I was eating noodle box just noodles and some chicken...Sad.ended up taking the food back don't even want repayment just know how horrible it was. Please have some respect for the food...
