I just had an incredibly unpleasant experience with a lady that works at this Tim Hortons name Marion. I come very often to this Tim Hortons as I live about a 15 minute walk away. I will usually come to this location about 3 days a week (at least) to grab a tea and something to eat. I always ask for a double cup on my tea as I get it black and the cup and the sleeve on their own is not enough to control the heat on my hand. I have never had an issue asking for this. That is until today. I asked one of the workers if I could have a double cup, Marion jumped in and said, very rudely, no. I was pretty taken aback and all she had to say was that it was costing the store too much to be giving double cups out. I can understand that, I would've been happy to pay 5 cents for the cup as they were apparently loosing so much money, even though I paid $2.11 for my tea, which I think would be more than enough to cover a double cup if I needed it. However she just left and told me I had to just deal with a sleeve. I hope Marion can understand that although your restaurant has apparently been loosing so much money on cups, because how incredibly unpleasant this experience was and the attitude I got from Marion, you will now be loosing a regular customer. First of all there were no straws out at the counter or somewhere else so a customer can help themselves if the employees don’t. Next, they forgot to give nutella croissant. Furthermore, i asked 3-4 times for ketchup (which was not stocked at the front), a straw for iced capp and salt pepper to gopini and she said one second and then forgot. They other white young girl was the one giving orders and wasn’t ready to listen for a second that i need something. I didn’t want to create an issue so i am writing here. The whole staff needs to be changed or maybe provide some new training to be a good listener in taking orders. It was my second time visiting this particular location and it’s the second time i came out of store with disappointment. Gopini is not good in english she messed up my order the first time i went there. I understand that english is nit their first language but whoever knows how to take order come take orders at front. Read moreCame to the Royal Oak location at around noon and the service was not great. The staff were all busy chatting and joking around while a whole line of customers waited. A girl named Guneet was terrible in particular. She had a snarky attitude and glared at me and my partner the entire time we ordered, recieved our food, and the whole time we sat down to eat! Super weird and uncomfortable being stared at the ENTIRE time we're eating. She was chatting with her friends instead of making orders and laughing while saying things like "Oh, they ordered that? I didn't even look". It took forever to get our order. When we got our order, there were several issues with our items, as well as missing items and random extra items handed to us. While my partner and I were seated, we noticed that almost every other customer served had shared the same experience.
