Hidden/Underrated Alert: Arby’s on Rothesay Ave! Seriously, this place is so underrated, wow!!! We originally stopped in just for the curly fries, but the menu had so many tempting options that we ended up going all out: mozzarella sticks, poutine, a Philly, and even a kids’ buffalo chicken burger. And let me tell you that everything was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. Total flavor bomb. The service? Next-level. The girl at the counter was so sweet and genuinely helpful. Without us even asking, she started bundling our order into deals to save us money — like, who does that anymore? Most places would’ve just rung everything in and called it a day. Thanks to her, our total came to just $30 (with taxes) for a huge meal we couldn’t even finish. We topped it off with some blueberry turnovers (a must!), and honestly, this might have been the best fast food experience I’ve ever had. And don’t even get me started on the vibe..the bathrooms were super clean, and the dining area felt cozier and better maintained than some sit-down restaurants I’ve been to. There are even plug-ins at the tables, a fireplace, and a TV. Super organized and welcoming. Huge kudos to the staff and owners, you’re doing everything right! * we definitely rang the bell tonight.

We decided to give Arby’s a go for the first time, hoping for a quick and tasty meal, but our experience fell short of expectations. The service was average—staff were polite enough, but things took a turn when we tried to order. We were interested in their 2 for $12 sandwich deal, but when we asked to purchase just one sandwich, we were told it wasn’t possible. This seemed unnecessarily rigid and not at all customer-friendly, especially for first-time visitors trying to sample the menu without committing to two sandwiches. It left us feeling frustrated and undervalued as customers. The food itself was underwhelming. The sandwiches were okay, with decent flavors, but nothing memorable or worth raving about. The real disappointment was the curly fries, which we’d heard good things about. They arrived barely warm and lacked the crisp, fresh quality we were expecting, making them a letdown. Overall, the meal didn’t live up to the hype, and the inflexible service didn’t help. While I appreciate the effort, this visit didn’t leave us eager to return.

I had the meat mountain. It was a mistake. It was like 20 layers of room temp cold cuts stacked on a chicken tender that tasted like a grocery store nugget cooked in the microwave from frozen. No sauce present -- the sandwich was BONE dry. I can't explain why but eating this meal felt like a sin. The protein and salt went straight to my bloodstream and I was pouring sweat for about an hour. The meats fell like a solid tungsten anchor into the abyss of my gut, never agin to be seen by mortal man. The Arby's meat mountain put me up 5 pounds and set me back at least 2 years spiritually; I may never fully recover from this incident. Curly fries were mid. The service was very good, the staff were friendly and kind.

Update March 2023. Shortly after I did this review Arby's emailed me. I was told someone would be in contact to make it right. It's going on a year and sadly I have never heard from anyone again. It may have looked like a scam call and my phone may have rejected it or it may have been an 800 number which no one answers anymore. Regardless there was very little/no effort made by Arby's to make this right as they said. Arby's has been my 1st choice since it opened here and I probably visit around 50 times a year. However Saturday June 6, 2022 was the worst. One of the girls up front constantly twirled her hair which was gross. After a while I thought I should nicely let her know. So I told her she shouldn't be playing with her hair around food. She said sorry but instead of washing her hands she went and boxed fries.while whispering to her co-workers about me. Then I get the order, poutine is curly fries so I tell the girl that's not what my mom wanted, she said o would have had to tell her that when I ordered them. Weird, never had to before we have ALWAYS been asked. But she didn't seem to want to do anything about it so my mom ate it. She said it was the worse poutine she had ever had and the curly fries were burnt. I had to go back up to the counter 3 times for stuff that didn't get put on the tray. Appears to be a good time to take a break from...

Came to this location a couple times usually go through the drive-thru the last time I came was a couple weeks ago and was served by a girl named Brooke who was so ignorant and unprofessional. I did not end up ordering my food due to her , I went to pay by debit and she handed it me so fast that my phone wouldn't tap she kept demanding that I put my card in , I kept telling her I do not have a card on me , I only have my phone can you please reset it , she ignored me she kept turning around and talking to the other girls that she was working with . I end up saying forget it you are treating me very badly and I drove away. I have been going to Arby's locations all across Canada as I'm new to St John for over 40 years and have never been treated this way and this is the second time I was to this location and treated this way by this girl named Brooke. I've actually been thinking about contacting the head office over this. My recommendations would be to get Brooke off of drive-thru she is very unprofessional and I would not want her representing my company and...
