Ever since the new ownership the cooked food had always been an absolute disappointment, i feel like some of employees are just ignorant family members of the owner of this location work here and don’t put any pride in their services. The food tonight was awful, for one I didn’t receive what I ordered, after taking a bite of the burger I felt it was uncooked, upon further inspection it noticed it was indeed, uncooked. I asked for a new burger and asked for it to be cooked better. Once I received my new burger it was once again barely cooked, not to mention tastes exactly like the frozen Pattie’s from Costco.. the ice cream is probably the only thing that keeps people coming to this location, if only there was another location in Saint John that served food, other than ice cream. Read moreI do not normally write reviews but my experience at this DQ made me so angry i had to do something. The Drive thru at this location is extremely slow I went through about a week ago for two ice cream cones and it took 20 minutes. People were honking their horns it took so long. I could have parked my car in the drive thru went in ate and come out and I would have been in the same place.. When we got to the window the cashier didnt even apologize for the wait, in fact she said nothing, nothing at all except the total. This is not the first time at this location, everytime I go its usually at least a 10 minute wait. Drive thru should be first priority. Service and food at this location are not worth the money and let's be honest dq is not cheap. They said that he should have told them at the speaker and since he didn’t they weren’t making another ice cream. He then said he didn’t see it on the screen to which they said it was (I didn’t see it either but it could’ve been there but I still don’t see the big deal) It wasn’t until he asked “what if I was allergic would you make it then?” that they changed their minds, but continued to make us feel like we were wrong for simply not wanting to pay that much for an ice cream we didn’t want.
