Service was polite and upbeat, but slow, it was clear they were severely under staffed for a Friday night. We had a group of 7, a couple had appetizers, most of which were good one was beyond greasy and inedible which was sent back uneatten when they finally returned to the table with our mains as they failed to check in with us as we waited and they did remove it from our bill. The pasta was served piping hot though we paid extra for cheese etc on a couple of the garlic bread and the bread came out plain, the steak dish was ordered medium rare but came out medium well and the fries were lukewarm. Asked for salt and pepper immediately when served, we were 1/2 through our meals before it arrived.
At this point we still had all the dishes from our starters and empty glasses on the table which were not cleared, they just set in the plates around them. We had to ask for more drinks each time we wanted some and the last drink ordered never ever arrived.
We were offered dessert, and again no dishes were cleared off the tables which were very cluttered with 3 empty glasses per person, starter plates and main plates. At this time I actually asked to have the dishes cleared from the table as there was literally no room left, the server said she would and took solely the stack we had made of about 1/2 the dishes, leaving everything else on the table. Honestly I have never been any where that didn't clear away your dirty dishes as they checked on your table or brought refill for drinks.
We also noted that though NB did not enter the green phase until midnight, the tables were no longer distanced and more tables had been added, which really should not have taken effect until midnight.
All in all as I said the staff was pleasant but definitely not attentive or cognitive of what needs to be done at a table when serving, for example taking away empty or finished plates and glasses. This place obviously needs staff whose sole job during a busy time is to ensure dishes are cleared from the tables without a customer having to request it as this is...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but I had such a great experience at Boston Pizza recently that I really felt the need to share—especially because of our wonderful server, Connor. From the minute we arrived, he made us feel completely welcome. He had such a kind and friendly way about him, the kind of attitude that instantly puts you at ease.
Connor greeted us with a genuine smile and took his time explaining the menu in a way that didn’t feel rushed or rehearsed. I had a couple of questions, and he was so patient and helpful. I ended up ordering the chicken pecan salad (which he highly recommended), and it was absolutely perfect—fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I needed.
What stood out most was Connor’s calm, respectful energy. He was attentive without being too present, which I really appreciate. You could tell he was keeping an eye on everything to make sure we had what we needed, but he gave us our space too. That balance is something not every server gets right, but he handled it perfectly.
Throughout the meal, Connor was warm, professional, and made us feel like more than just another table. It was clear he takes pride in his work, and honestly, it made the whole dining experience feel a little more special than I expected. It’s not just about good food—it’s about the people, and Connor really brought that extra something.
When we finished and were getting ready to leave, he thanked us so sincerely and wished us a good day in a way that felt truly genuine. It was just a really lovely experience from start to finish.
If you’re going to Boston Pizza, I highly recommend asking for Connor. He’s thoughtful, professional, and just a really bright light in that place. I hope the restaurant knows what a gem they have!

Read moreFood was Okay but pricey. I paid with Cash while our server stood over us, I had a $75 order and explained I was paying with $80 cash and did not need change. Our waitress took my money after I counted it once and did not recount it. Once I left I realized I overpaid and gave our waitress $100. I thought a Five dollar tip on Mediocre food was a good tip, but I ended up giving our waitress 25% of our whole order.
Needless to say the meal wasn't worth $40/plate for my partner and I then come to find out I actually overpaid even more then I meant to is slightly upsetting. If I had a customer leave $20 extra when they explained they were giving a $5 tip, I would have chased them out the door to get them their money back.
Mind you we were the only customers being served in the restaurant side, I'm partly to blame for not double counting my own money, but standing over us while we looked at the bill felt kind of like we were being rushed out. And since it was so quiet in there, the waitress should have had time to double count the money I put down and notice the mistake.
Manager was nice enough when I called this morning, but basically told me nothing can be done about it, no complaint can be made, he's not going to advise the waitress to count people's money when paying cash (which is my main concern, why hadn't the money been counted on spot).
So if you do read this, make sure you don't make any mistakes as a customer as they will just let it be that,...
