Swiss Chalet — Restaurant in Saint John

Great chicken, soup, and fries. Surprisingly the wings were not as good as they usually are. Typically they have great wings. They were well overcooked and probably shouldn't have left the kitchen. The lemon meringue pie crust was very hard to cut through, however tasted fine. Had a kitchen ticket on my plate under my food. Brought it to the attention of our server. She asked if I wanted to see if the Manger could do anything. I told her it was fine but she should pass it up as the next person may not take it so lightly. Still a great meal even though I got a kitchen ticket under my food and my gravy never made it. It was March break so the place was busy. Things get overlooked. Poor Management, Poor public relations with resolving customer issues, lack of attention to detail and poor food hygiene practices or concerns. Please consider eating somewhere other than Swiss Chalet while in Saint John...

Went to this location tonight, as myself and my boyfriend do every week to week and a half. Ordered a bacon cheese burger with an extra patty to make it a double cheese burger which we have done every single visit for the last 6 months. At first the waitress said no only one patty. I explained we always get this very nicely and that they just charge an extra patty she said no problem and off to the kitchen she went. About 15 minutes later who I assume is the manager with a head set and bald head and quite the adittude comes rolling around to are table, and with his adittude asked who ordered the cheese burger my boyfriend said he did and he said "we have just one patty ok?" So he agreed we didn't come here to fight we came here for dinner. When the burger arrived it had no bacon so my boyfriend spoke up and asked for the bacon the manager then gives him a weird look says "it said plain but ok ill fix that." A few minute later the burger comes back with bacon and a nice cold slice of non melted cheese thrown on top. After this experience and knowing a manager like that works there I think we will stick to Montanas from now on. As someone who works in the food industry I would never be allowed to act the way that man does. Do yourself a favor go...

Went to Swiss Chalet for supper last night with a friend. We were informed before we sat down that they had no roast beef. We arrived around 6:20 and were seated and had ordered by 6:30. Then we sat and waited & waited. Never saw our server again for 45 mins She finally showed up to tell the people across from us that arrived a bit after we did that they no longer had any white meat and their order would be another 30 mins. They were not pleased to say the least so over came the greeter. They asked him what he was going to give them to eat while they waited. He offered them bowls of soup. When he came back with the soup you could see he was pissed. He gave them their soup and literally dumped a pile of crackers in the middle of their table. The customer at this table then says to him what about these 2 ladies they have been here longer than we have. Mr. Greeter picks up 2 packages of crackers from their table and no exaggeration tosses them at us and walks away. But hold on it gets even better, one of the men is eating his soup and what does he find in his bowl but a plastic cover off of a soft drink cup. It is now 7:35pm and still no food anywhere in sight.
