Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Saint John

Visited 11th February 2022 I used the app for the first time, went in to pick up, waited patiently at the mobile pick up section(there was an employee there who just ignored me 😀 that was fun) Finally everyone in line ordered and got their food and the gentleman taking orders called me over, I explained to him I was just waiting to pick up my order I made through the app, and there I found out he hadn’t made the drinks at all, but one of the employees had already made the breakfast sandwich. I wanted to give the gentleman a break cause it looked like they didn’t get a lot of mobile orders, he didn’t even know where to check for my order, I had to repeat the order to him before he made them. I asked him twice how I could redeem the points for my order, first time he ignored me (which I didn’t really make a fuss about cause he looked really confused about the mobile order). The second time I asked he gave me this odd sign to wait, and got someone else to help me, but she also wasn’t sure how to do that on the app. Long story short, it wasn’t worth using the app at that store 😀 (I’m also not going to talk about how this old man kept staring at me and my partner because that’s a whole...

Went in person because the price of the new rice bowl menu items were $15+ on doordash but in store they're only $9 Almost no selection of donuts and when I asked for a lightly toasted begal it was burnt because the toaster speed was apparently broken. The staff was apologetic and did they're very best but the location is overrun by loitering and someone was smoking a joint openly in their car in the parking lot. They were also understaffed. The franchise owners needs to provide his employees with a better/safety environment. It's a main location in a bad area and while I don't blame the people who are down on their luck who live there I do worry for the staff and any potential customers on foot. I would suggest you add the walk in hours as it closes at 7pm i believe and we know its in a horrible location surrounded by homeless and addicts but at this point conduct business normally or just close theres 2 other tims uptown but to have an open store and no one even be allowed to have the option to eat in anymore as they closed the dining room and you cant even have a coffee with a friend outside anymore without being chased away nor do you have the ability to use the restrooms as they are closed to keep homeless and addicts out if its that much of a problem get a key from staff.... the way it is now is just insanity and a waste of money they midas well have a small shack and just serve walk throughs like they do drive through atleast then if i want a coffee up until 11 pm (when drive thru closes) i can walk...
