One Saturday my son and I were at the corner of Union and Waterloo and I said: "You know what? For as long as I can remember that restaurant has been there and I have never eaten there." Well we decided to go in and grab a pizza. I have to be honest. It was ok. Not great, but ok. And not overpriced!! It was a pretty good pizza. Not like a Vito's pizza, but it was ok. But when you want pizza in Saint John you have to go to "Vito's Pizza" IMHO..
Since then my family has frequently gone to tops because the food is very good, hot, and very very reasonable. If you are visiting the city, expect good quality food and downright reasonable prices. Hamburger platter with hot crispy fries, just $10.50 tax included! The girls are great and I don't think you will be disappointed. You definitely will not be over charged!! See my review of the rip off artist at Billy's Seafood just a block away .

Read moreIt’s been frustrating to wait more than half an hour. Servers keep telling you it will take 1/2 minutes, to extend they are packing while they started or they didn’t even know how long its gonna take. At least, you gonna tell the drivers to most approximate time so that they gonna mentally prepared to wait or cancel for the next one. Terrible experience; first and very last time. Don’t recommend at all. Just lets the folk know. Thank you for your response, but it’s disappointing to see that instead of addressing the situation professionally, you chose to respond with rudeness and inaccuracies. The restaurant was not fully booked, and no one mentioned any issues with the app during my long wait. Clear communication would have resolved this easily. As Uber drivers, we expect honesty and respect, not dismissive remarks. If you truly care about your customers and drivers, it would be better to focus on improving service rather than...
Read moreI met an old army buddy here for a catch up while passing through St John. He said the breakfast here was good and the coffee not so strong that you couldn't settle in for session of solving the worlds problems and just catching up. And we had a lot of catching up to do.
Ethan, my buddy, sat at the back of the restaurant in a chair just below the old, black heater mounted on the far wall from the entrance. He seem more relaxed than usual, probably from the good field of view the seat afforded. Despite a steady stream of regulars coming and going, he seemed comfortable.
To get to the point here, the place is a gem. The breakfast was delicious and the prices better than reasonable. Our coffee cups were never less than a third full thanks to the attentive service. Do yourself a favour and drop in...
