Frequent diner here and it's always been great! The potatoes are some of the best I've ever had and they're the only place that makes crepes right. Thin and flavourful, no thick, cardboard, heavy crepes like every other breakfast joint. Lots of vegan/veggy/dairy intolerant options as well. The place is small and the staff is low, so service can be really slow/inattentive on really busy days, but they are very nice and work hard considering. The place has a beautiful atmosphere during lunch hour with the old wood, sun coming through and the water view in front. The smoothies and drinks are always delicious as well and the prices are very fair/low considering the quality delivered. You guys are amazing, thank you for being the best at breakfast! 🥞🍳

After a long cycling, I wanted to have a latte in this small cute city. The Google maps recommended me this place and I give it a try. The place looks cozy and unique with the old style house. There are do many of ice cream and gelato selection inside. There’s also a breakfast and lunch selection for those that want to have a meal in the morning and afternoon. The Latte taste good, although a little bit watery, but their ice cream was good (forgot to take a picture). The outside balcony is also nice for those that ride a bike to here and alone, and also want to keep an eye for your bike for those that don’t bring any bike locks.

I recently visited Au Bout de L’Isle and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the homemade ice cream, which tasted incredibly delicious. Each flavor was rich and creamy, showcasing the perfect balance of sweetness and natural ingredients. The ambiance of the cafe is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a treat. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall delightful experience. I highly recommend Au Bout de L’Isle to anyone looking for a charming cafe with outstanding homemade ice cream! THIS IS ALI NOOR & THIS IS MY REVIEW

I have been here quite a couple of times for ice cream, beaver tails and for breakfast. Today I was quite disappointed in the way I was treated. I was with my 1 and a half year old daughter and my mother and as it was beautiful outside so we sat on the benches there. I left my daughter with my mother to go to the bathroom (as i'm 8 months pregnant and need to use the bathroom quite often at this stage) and afterwards I came back out to get my daughter to changer her diaper. Once that was done, I came back outside and was about to leave my daughter with my mother and grab my wallet to go back inside to get a slice of their apple cake (which is absolutely delicious btw) but this older man comes up to me (which I can only assume is the owner) even before I can take a step forward to go inside and approaches me asking in the most condescending way and stares unhappily asking me if the "previous ice cream place I went to didn't have any bathroom"? Notice that I didn't have any ice cream in my hands, my mother did. To which I responded that my plan was to go to the bathroom and then to change my daughter and then would go inside the shop to buy what I wanted all while he's just giving me a nasty stare like i'm some kind of criminal. I understand you're running a business but I need a couple minutes to do the things I need to do being pregnant and with a young child and don't appreciate being judged and questioned by you thinking i'm just there for your bathroom. Such disrespect. Unfortunately being treated this way is unacceptable and unnecessary. Cake was 5 stars but the service , especially by the owner is a huge turnoff. Quite unfortunate because I thought of this place as a 5 star before all this and spoke very highly about it. To the owner, be patient with people...you don't know the background story to things. Get off...

I went there with my family. My partner and I already bought the ice cream from other stores and my dad bought ice cream from this store. So we wanted somewhere to sit and eat our ice cream then we found a terrace seat kinda like bench. So we sat down and started eating. At the time there weren’t a lot of people and all the seats and tables were empty. There were few people buying drinks and ice cream but no one was eating. There was only an owner that’s old guy sitting and chitchatting on the terrace seat as well. Then as soon as he saw us eating ice cream he started yelling at us so aggressively that “Get out from here if you bought ice cream from other places!” and stuff like that… there were few people who were going to go inside and buy ice cream then they saw old owner yelling at us so aggressively all of sudden. They were also shocked. And the way he said was just so aggressive and had no respect, it just made us so shocked and uncomfortable. If he could have just told us more calmly with better expressions we would have understood and just left. I saw some people writing reviews that they had bad experiences with the servers and that owner. If you’re thinking about going to this place please don’t go there. There are more places that have so much better services and foods...

Went for breakfast with my little group (20) and had an amazing time.

Amazing little jewel of a place. Charming renovated cottage, with friendly staff, owner Lydia very welcoming and food amazing. This was a one stop, breakfast, ice-cream and gift shop all in one. One of my guests bought a beautiful plant at a very reasonable price.

You can actually see the kitchen and the 4 people working hard to accommodate everyone. My group not only go out together for the good food but to socialize and since we were a big group we didn't mind the staff taking their time with our orders but surprisingly it did go much faster than expected. Only thing missing was air conditioning. The side potatoes were different and yummy!! Breakfast with a little twist. Sausage not regular breakfast sausages, the fruit accompanying everything was super tasty and fresh. I myself had a breakfast sandwich with multigrain bread, egg, sausage, tomato and lettuce, with these amazing potatoes on the side. We enjoy good food with a little something different and great prices. This place had it all. I personally recommend this place and...
