One of the many waterfront restaurants in Ste-Anne. The food was ok. The waitress misheard the appetizer order and brought the wrong thing (seafood vs vegetarian dish). My parents were nice to accept it anyways. There aren't many vegetarian options other than vegetables in different sauces. I can make the same red curry vegetables at home. My mother really enjoyed her seafood stir fry in Thai sauce though. We ordered dessert: litchi in sticky rice and the classic fried banana. They were yummy but they use canned litchi. The bill ended up adding to quite much for what it was (small portions and recipes I can make at home for over $100). I figured that they could've at least offered us a free dessert or tea/coffee after their mistake. I understand that they couldn't give away the seafood appetizer, but a fried banana and boiled water don't cost much.

**Chalet Thai – Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue** Had a really nice lunch at Chalet Thai! The **atmosphere** is top-notch — you're right by the water, shaded and relaxed, which makes it a perfect summer spot. **Service** was excellent — super friendly and attentive, made us feel right at home. **Food** was good, around **3.5 out of 5**. Flavors were decent, but just a heads-up: rice bowls come as a small extra charge, which feels a bit off when you're already ordering a main. That said, the **Tsingtao beer** was a pleasant surprise — great to have a cold one by the water. Overall, it’s worth going for the vibe and the service alone — and with a cold beer in hand, it’s easy to enjoy the day.

If your looking for an authentic thai experience, this is the place for you. They have a lot of variety and everything is prepared perfectly and seems fresh. they have decent vegan options too. One of the nice things about this place is the scenery. Near a boardwalk and waterfront. The cambodian waiter is quite a character. Always smiling and laughing and eager to help. My favorites were the thai scallops, the spring rolls (not fried) and the chocolate mousse cake. You can find a parking if your lucky around there. opened except for in the winter. The cook is also very good, he came to say hello. nice place to go with friends or family.

From the moment you step into Chalet Thai, you’re greeted with a warmth that promises an exceptional dining experience. The service here is nothing short of excellent, with staff members who are not just attentive but genuinely caring. They frequently check in to ensure your comfort, making the entire meal feel personalized and special. The menu is a delightful journey through Thailand’s culinary landscape, offering an extensive range of traditional dishes that cater to various palates. Whether you’re a Thai cuisine aficionado or a curious first-timer, there’s something here for everyone. A standout dish is the Chicken Thai Curry, which is a harmonious blend of spices and coconut milk, creating a comforting yet exotic taste that lingers pleasantly. The Fried Rice is fluffy and well-seasoned, making it the perfect accompaniment to the curry. The Chicken Sauté with Vegetables and Peanut Sauce is another must-try, with its tender chicken pieces and vibrant veggies drenched in a delectable peanut sauce that’s both nutty, sweet and savory. For families, this restaurant is a gem. They are notably conscious of serving children promptly, ensuring that the little ones are happy and fed without undue wait times. It’s a thoughtful touch that adds to the restaurant’s family-friendly appeal. A small tip for future patrons: consider ordering a small rice to go with your curry dishes. It’s the ideal portion to savor the curry without overwhelming your taste buds or your appetite. In conclusion, this Thai restaurant is a culinary delight that offers more than just a meal; it provides an experience that’s rich in flavours and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in the true essence of Thai cuisine. Bon Appétit...

We had an unpleasant experience there. A waiter asked us to pick a table from two options. We selected one and sat down. After about twenty minutes, when dishes were on the table, another waitress came by and demanded us to move to a different table. She said that the manager ask her to tell us to move. I said that get the Manager out and I will talk to her.

The Manager came to our table and spoke to my friend, who was not the host of our dinner (talking about lack of communication skills). I then told her that she needed talk to me. She just started blasting broken English like a machine gun. I explained to her that we were seated by a waiter and he told us we could sit there. She just would not listen and kept on talking. Then, suddenly she realized that we were going to finish the dinner very shortly. She immediately decided it was okay for us not to move. Wasn't the whole episode silly and unnecessary? What a perfect example treating customers poorly!

Also, beware if you are allergic to cigarette smoke! They let people smoke in the restaurant's outdoor seatings. You will be inhaling smoky air on...

Bad service, over prized - lower than average food. They rushed us to take our order, we went around 8:30pm (I guess it was the end of their day) communication went poorly right from the start. Food came but the server made a mistake with our order and brought us the same dish twice, we sent it back but he came back saying that it wasn’t possible to return the dish and decides we should take it to go, puts it in a plastic bag on our small table in the middle of everything while we are eating so that “we dont forget to take it home” also the dishes in the menu are numbered like in the regular/average asian restaurants but in this one they dont include the rice, the server didnt have the courtesy to let us know that, we had to ask for rice after the dishes came, so we waited more. The food is pretty average, not better than any regular $20/$25 per person asian restaurant downtown Montreal but surprisinly this bill was $130 for 2 ppl. It was a total rip off. I dont like to write bad reviews but this place was a terrible experience, it ruined our visit to Ste Anne...
