Triple O's — Restaurant in Salmon Arm

As a couple from Ottawa, we decided to give Triple O's a try on one of our stops from Calgary to Vancouver, and it was a great overall experience. We were attended by a lovely, cheery lady named Alvy, who had a beautiful smile and whom greeted us kindly. We ordered a cod (fish) burger, and a buttermilk chicken burger. We made one of our burgers a combo to try out the fries. The cod sandwhich was excellent. The fish was very fresh tasting, and the tartar-esque sauce that was drizzled over it was very delicious. The cod burger was a 10/10. However, the chicken burger lacked a wow-factor for my partner and I personally. It came with a barbecue sauce and mayo. I think if the sauce was more unique, it would've been a better sandwhich. However, it was prepared very well, and it was tasty nonetheless. The fries were excellent. They were rustic, and appearing to be hand-cut fries. They were not overly salted, and the potato itself had a fantastic taste. Came through drive throu ordered special 2 can dine no cheese add lettuce. Go to pay and it's 24.66 told the girl I didn't order cheese. I never order as it's expensive. Manager comes to window and said you ordered cheese and I said no. He says give me the burgers back to remake and gave me my $3 back. Good customer service would of been sorry give the 3 back and keep the burgers. Sorry you lost a customer. First time tried and now the last. Top it off no ketchup and wasn't asked either.

UPDATE. have been speaking to mgmt team. They offered a burger, fries and drink but told me I was allergic to cheese which I am not and that all the staff said I ordered cheese. I have been ordering from the spot for 30 years and I always order no cheese too expensive, no tomatoes or onions. To be told you lied pisses me off. Disappointing. Placed my order in the drive through. Got home to realize my order was incorrect. Went back with the wrong burger to get the proper one (a veggie burger for my vegetarian wife, not the bacon cheese burger I had received) and I was told that I hadn't ordered that. Refused to make my order right unless I purchased the veggie burger again. (At a slight discount so I "wouldn't be disappointed")

While I was waiting for my replacement order, another group in the restaurant received their order wrong as well, twice!

Communication with the woman at the register was incredibly difficult, and I was made to feel like I was trying to scam them out of a burger, even though I returned with the burger I had not ordered.

Will go elsewhere next time.
