Royal Wok Buffet — Restaurant in Salmon Arm

We've been eating here since it opened and we've always really loved it. The last 2 times we've gone however we've been really disappointed with the given wait time and actual wait time. Both times we were given reasonable wait times from 20 minutes - 35 minutes. Both times however it wasn't ready until about an hour after we placed it. Today I ordered at 5:30, was told 30/35 minutes, and arrived about 45 minutes after I placed the order just in case they were busy (because I remembered the last time) and I still had to wait for about 15 minutes before it was ready. There was about 5 other groups waiting for their orders. For context the first time we ordered food was a Sunday night (we thought it wouldn't be busy) and we waited for half an hour at the restaurant and Friday night (we expected it to be busy but they still gave us the 30/35 minute estimate) and I had to wait an extra 15 minutes . I don't mind waiting an hour if I know that's how long it'll be but I'd rather be given the correct time when we place the order so we can make the decision if we want to wait that long and prepare accordingly. We just ordered delivery from here and instantly regretted it upon opening the box. The almond chicken was a hunk of thick soggy batter that was not even cooked through or cut up into pieces just a huge piece of battered chicken with raw flavourless dough. We also didn’t get the extra sauce we paid for and all the meat in everything tasted old and nasty. The wonton soup was flavourless as well and not the kind we ordered. Three of us ate and we all ended up throwing it away still hungry worried if we kept eating we would get sick. The sushi also wasn’t very good but better than the rest of the food but sadly even the wasabi was the add water powder kind.. Didn’t get cutlery even though we ordered the food to a hotel. This place is great it's the only place to go for Chinese food, you order buffet and you get all you can eat from any item you see. Start with Chinese food then move to the crab and cream cheese deep fried wantons then load up on sushi any kind you want after that help yourself to dessert and a good selection. Every time I enter I get a welcoming hello my friend and when I order to go they have no problem substituting items on combo plates and even cater to wife's meals that can't have garlic or onions and make especially for her, we come from Chase just to have dinner here and always leave happy and one of very few restaurants that earn every bit of the tip I leave them and only restaurant to deserve every penny.
