The atmosphere and service at this restaurant were lovely. The waitress was kind and answered our questions. The chef even swapped out onions in my dish for pineapple after I asked. We came in for their lunch specials and were pleasantly surprised by the moderate prices. However, once we received our plates we were not pleased with the portion sizes. For twelve dollars plus tax we had hoped to receive a full plate of rice and vegetables. The amount of ingredients included in each dish did not adequately reflect the price paid. For example, the vegetable stir fry I ordered had one slice of zucchini and three small cubes of tofu. Three pieces of pineapple, and not much else. If you have tasted real Thai-food before don't go there. The waitresses has no clue what she is serving. She doesn't know basic thai ingredients. She had do double check the kitchen but didn't replay to us the outcome of the request. The Gai pad prik gaeng, a common thai dish, with 2 chilli's on the menu, had absolutely no taste at all. It was just plain Canadian cooking and had no thai ingredients in it, just carrots and beens! The dish was like sample only. Staff are so rude, we very politely asked to send something back to the kitchen, that came out different than advertised and we were treated terribly. For sending back spring rolls! Spring rolls with only cabbage inside! This was our second visit, first one took 1.5 hours to get our food, so much for a second chance.
