I have a personal soft spot for coffee shops, I just adore that it’s a community space where people can come in and hang out with friends over coffee. If you love coffee, and a good treat then this is the place! I’m always amazed by the creativity with their baked items! Especially their cheesecake, they usually have a few different varieties. I was with friends on Saturday to try out their special February entry for the Salmon Arm hot chocolate trail. The only thing that didn’t work out for us was that they ran out of ham and cheese scones, so some of my friends had to have a cheese scone, but everybody enjoyed what they ordered. I would agree with Wade's review below. Felt very unwelcome here. Seems to be a clique ambiance. The coffee was nice. Sandwiches were a bit overpriced but very tasty. The lady who makes the sandwiches was overtly rude, especially when I brought out my laptop to use while I ate. I understand not wanting people hanging out and taking up space, but I don't see the difference between being on my phone or doing some work on my laptop as I'd be there the same amount of time. Maybe it's a small town mindset, but I really don't see the need to go to places I'm made to feel unwelcome. I can’t say enough good things about this charming coffee shop. It’s a hidden gem in our community, and it truly deserves five stars.
