We ordered 2 lbs of wings, some nachos and fried pickles. The wing orders seemed small and they weren't hot when they came out, they weren't cold but definitely not, not the end of the world. It was half price anyway so I ordered another pound of my fire and ice wings, we were told by the server they had no idea how long it would be because they were very busy (the restaurant wasn't even half full). When my wings came out there were 2lbs instead of one, didn't think much of it and begin eating them. I ate 3 wings and the server came back with another place with 1lb of wings on it and said I'm sorry we gave you the wrong wings those are BBQ not fire and ice, I said no big deal I've already been eating them though and have had my fingers in the plate, she said okay I still need to take them back though. She left and went to the back, my wife said you don't think they're going to serve that to the next person do you? I said let's watch and see. She came back out of the kitchen no more then a minute after bringing the wings I had eaten back and served them to the table beside us, I was just about to get up and ask the man if they were BBQ wings and if they were 3 short of the full order when he pushed the plate into the middle of the table and began shaking his head and saying something to the server while pointing over at our table, he ended up refusing to eat the wings and the server brought them back to the kitchen for a 2nd time. My second order of wings had been sitting for a while as well and weren't hot. We had enough at this point and just wanted to leave, I hadn't saw the server in over 15 minutes and was waiting to get another water. I ended up having to go to the kitchen entrance and hollering for someone to come, when she came I asked for a water and the bill. The server came back some time later with the bill and no water so I let the machine time out and refused to pay until I got my drink I had been waiting for, for well over 20 minutes now. I understand servers get busy but the restaurant wasn't busy and there were at...

Chicken (white) and rib meal combo was overall okay. Chicken breast was very dry as the cook over cooked it. Rib was better and tender even though there was not much meat on it. The side of french fries seemed like the oil was old as it was not light in colour and not crispy. I would have preferred a salad versus french fries (this was not an option). Music was great to listen too. Service was not bad, but could have been much better as the waitor could have been more attentive. Location is fantastic as it it a walking distance from the mall. Quaint outside patio. Update on October 27, 2022 a year later.
My family member had not been to this restaurant and I thought I'd give it another try.
Our male waiter did not seem like he wanted to be and excuded this as well.
Order took a while to be taken or delivered.
He never introduced himself. Stated he would be back to take our order. Upon coming back he took our order for drinks and while he turned his back I stated "excuse me". He apparently never heard me .... he came back with our drinks and walked away and once again I stated "excuse me I'd like to place an order" a few times and he kept walking away. We finally had our order taken.
All three (3) variety of burgers were luke warm, french fries were the same.
When two (2) of our burgers were eaten we were then asked if everything was okay by our waiter. I know for a fact the waiter asked other tables for their response and we were there prior to the others being seated.
The bill was taking a long time to be given even when we were standing up to get the waiters attention. If you pay by cash don't expect change to be given back. No way we were going to give a large tip for this kind of service and food.
Not sure how this restaurant stays open. There needs to be a change.
I did receive a response from the restaurant the first time asking me to contact them .... it did not go any farther on their side.
If others enjoy this particular restaurant I'm happy for them ... for me this will be...
Read moreWow… this is a rare occurrence for me. I normally only eat at restaurants that I preview the reviews on first. We review restaurants all over the world for fun while we travel. In this case, I would have to say I’m disappointed. The cheese sticks were lukewarm. My girlfriend ordered buffalo wings that we’re not even a two on a spicy scale. She was very disappointed. We ordered two Caesar drinks of which lacked any taste beyond the straight Clamato juice with ice. If you can’t make a good Caesar drink like Earls you’ve lost me. My GF was horrified of the condition of the Ladies washroom. Then when the bill came we noticed a 3% surcharge. Not being from Ontario I ChatGPT’d the surcharge. I found out it is only charged at Chuck’s roadhouse. I challenged the waitress on this amount. She’s said it was to offset their cost of doing business because of erratic wholesale food prices. Not a good business model to bring back customers. 3% surcharge + 13 HST = 16% 😳. I would like to add that the tip is calculated on that surcharge also. They have the potential to have such a good restaurant, but many items are falling through the cracks and nobody seems to care. The success of a great restaurant is in the details. I see there were two separate Montana restaurants at the same location, both of which failed since 2009. Restaurants fail from bad management not bad employees . Most of my reviews are four and five star. This is the worst restaurant I’ve been to in a few years and will not be spending any more money here. Also, don’t bother responding by suggesting I email you a copy of my bill so you can look into it like all the other reviewers that have not been happy. You have a cookie cutter response which shows you just don’t care nor are you going to fix the problems and complaints your customers are having with your food. I see 7 bad reviews in 2 weeks. Imagine all the unhappy customers that didn’t leave Reviews. This Restaurant will not be here...
