I came through drive thru everything was good till I got to the window and paid. I ordered a cheesecake blizzard and got a peanut butter in instead. The girl wasnt gonna do nothing she said that's what I ordered. When infact I didn't. So she got another lady and she was very rude as well. I love Diary Queen since I was kid. I never received service like this from them. I was willing to pay extra if I had too. And I did they made me pay for it and it didn't even have the whip cream I paid for. I was so upset I just drove away. And we bought 4 combos and 3 blizzards. Just messed up that was. It was a simple fix but the 1st girl wanted to make sure she wasn't to blame. I won't go through the drive thru for awhile now being treated like I was just causing trouble. I was holding up the line and quite embarrassed about the whole thing. I'll have to go to another town or city I guess if I ever want Diary Queen again. That was so uncalled for. My other experiences I had was no good in Chatham either they take forever. I don't know what to say. Get employees that enjoy thier jobs and no how to work under pressure. I've worked in fast food before. It's not hard to do what you up gotta do and serve hungry customers. Listen to what's being ordered and repeat the order back so you know it's what they said to you. Then smile when you see them put the order in thru the till and read the receipt before you put it down to get ready. Always smile and say hello welcome to diary queen how may I help you. It's not hard listen put the order thru read the receipt back that's it. Some just take your money and put the order thru and think I'm right that's what they ordered when it's not. Very simple very very simple. I loved working in fast food. I met very interesting people where I worked. Here at diary queen in sarnia...I didn't want to write a review like this but Everytime you guys popped up on reviews something was telling me to write up this bad experience I had here that night. Hopefully the attitude changes on those 2 girls and just say sorry I'll change that up and make it right. Don't make the customer feel like she didn't speak English to you when they ordered or tell them that's what you ordered. Just trying to start an argument at the window. I'm pretty sure the customer knows what they wanted to order not the employee that heard something else and say well that's what you ordered. Smh common sense that's all that is....customer ordered not you...your just the person trying to get them what they want and send them on their way with a smile don't send them away unhappy with the service and being treated like this one customer means nothing so let them be mad and just let them go. Very disappointing and upsetting that was that night. Not going back for awhile now. My advice get employees that know how to take the blame and say they're sorry. Nothing wrong with being wrong. If that happened instead I would of excepted the apology and my ordered would of been fixed that easy but no had to get upset and driveway unhappy. Souldnt be that way. Sorry my butt came thru and messed up your attitudes. I'll break it from...
Read moreDeliciously Decadent Outdated Ice Cream Cake at Dairy Queen Exmouth! Just had the most surprisingly delicious experience at the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill on Exmouth in Sarnia! I decided to try their ice cream cake featuring a base layer of that classic, subtly sweet artificially flavored vanilla reduced fat ice milk. What truly elevated this treat was the generous topping of a TURTLES® Blizzard® and a sprinkle of crunchy pecans. The combination was absolutely divine – the creamy vanilla, the rich caramel and chocolate chunks from the Blizzard, and the satisfying crunch of the nuts created a symphony of textures and flavors.
Now, here's the interesting part – this ice cream cake was marked as outdated! Despite my initial hesitation, I decided to give it a try, and I am so glad I did. It was incredibly tasty, with no signs of staleness whatsoever. In fact, the slightly longer freezing time might have even enhanced the richness and density.
While the price point was a little higher than some other treats, the quality and the unique combination of flavors made it worth every penny. The Dairy Queen location itself offers good car parking, making it convenient to stop by. The service was also pleasant and efficient.
Overall, I highly recommend giving this particular ice cream cake a try if you happen to see it at the Dairy Queen on Exmouth in Sarnia, even if it's marked as outdated! It was a delightful and unexpected treat that I would happily indulge in again. Don't let the date deter you – sometimes the best surprises come in unexpected packages! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more of...

Dairy Queen consistently delivers on its promise of quality fast food, and the Sarnia branch is no exception. One of the standout features is its exceptional staff. They're friendly, efficient, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a positive customer experience.
The ice cream, of course, is the star of the show. It's creamy, flavorful, and always hits the spot. Whether you're craving a classic cone or a decadent Blizzard, Dairy Queen has you covered.
The restaurant itself is clean and inviting, with some pleasant artwork adding to the ambiance. While the French fries could benefit from a slightly longer cooking time and a thicker cut, they still complement the overall meal.
The only real downside is the price of Blizzards. They're undeniably delicious, but the cost might give some customers pause. However, for those who truly appreciate a premium ice cream treat, the price is well worth it.
In conclusion, Dairy Queen is a fantastic fast food option thanks to its friendly staff, delicious ice cream, and overall pleasant atmosphere. While there's room for improvement in the French fry department, the quality of the food and service far outweighs any minor...
