The Mediocre: (1) They only have a small selection of teas. While they do have both bagged and loose tea it's really just a handfull of both types. If you want Roobis or Gunpowder Green tea then look elsewhere (personally I recomend Mystic Java, they have a huge selection of teas)
(2) The menu board is not well designed; It is hard to read unless I am two feet from the service counter. Why is that? Well, it's becasue the font size is way too small for how far away the menu is from the counter. They could easily increase the size of the counter by 1.5 of it's current size and then increase the font size to match. Better yet, just move the menu closer to the front counter. Hell, there is enough unused space on that front counter there's no reason why the menu couldn't even be ON the front counter! The owner needs to learn from how other quick-service shops have designed their menus.
(3) The WiFi range is horrible. If I am sitting in the far NE cornner of the building I will be lucky if I can get one bar of reception. They need to upgrade their WiFI router: Either get a repeater/extender for the second room of replace the existing router with an 802.11ac capable unit.
(4) Not much parking space.
The Good: (1) Lots of space. There's about twenty tables inside and another dozzen or so on the patio, plus half a dozzen bar-style narrow tables lining the windows. It's not cramped or claustrophobic like most Starbucks are.
(2) Fresh coffee, roasted and ground on site. They'll even let you pick out any of the beans you want, custom-grind it for you right in front of you and then make you a cup of whatever you want from that. Now that's service!
(3) Relaxed atmosphere. It's not owned by a big faceless heartless corporation...

I came through the drive-through and ordered a macchiato with oat milk. They asked if we wanted it in a large cup or a medium, and I asked if it was just a traditional macchiato with 2 shots of espresso and a bit of foam on top. They said yes, and we said the smallest cup they have is fine since it's a small drink.
When we got up to the window, she handed us the drink (big ol' drink, wasn't a macchiato) and said it was $5.50. When we asked why it was so expensive, she said it was because they had to charge us for an extra shot, and the milk. (I knew it was going to be a bit more expensive from the oat milk, but I don't understand the added shot charge..)
We were still confused, and the woman said in a super snarky tone "Would you like me to just remake it for you?!" I said no it's fine I just didn't understand the extra charge. After I paid and left a tip, and while we were all still discussing it, she said "FINE THEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T PAY FOR IT." And slammed the window in our face. This is after I had already paid and it went through..
You guys should try to work on your customer service over there, because that was...
Read moreFirst time I went there, I ordered a vanilla cake to go, but they gave me a chocolate brownie! I didn’t check before taking it, and when I did- it was too late! I haven’t visited that place after that day for almost 3 years. But today I had to as I was feeling very sick due to the heatwave, and felt something iced will soothe me! So I ordered iced cappuccino and a dessert. The iced coffee was white- it didn’t taste anything like coffee! When I went to the counter to check I was given what I ordered, the girl in the counter said, “yes we add one espresso to the milk and white chocolate syrup”! I never had iced cappuccino thats comes with a white chocolate syrup!! Anyway, along with iced coffee, I ordered a butter tart. The girl just handed me the tart without giving me it on a plate or a napkin!!!! I was too confused at her behave, and could not even ask for a plate!Just kept my tart in the table! But she gave plates to the next two customers- who of course didnot look like me!! I wont probably...
