I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Red Lobster restaurant in Saskatoon, and it was truly a memorable experience. I've visited this establishment a few times before, but this particular visit stood out for several remarkable reasons. First and foremost, our server, Shaf, made the evening exceptional. Shaf's attention to detail and outstanding service left a lasting impression on our group. From the moment we were seated, it was evident that Shaf was dedicated to providing us with a fantastic dining experience. He was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations and answering our questions with enthusiasm. Shaf's presence at our table was not just about taking our orders and delivering food; it was about creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly enhanced our evening. His friendly demeanor and professionalism added a personal touch that made us feel like valued guests, and that level of service is something I greatly appreciate. In fact, I was so impressed with Shaf's service that I couldn't help but think about my own restaurant, which recently opened on Broadway. I believe in providing the best possible experience for my customers, and having a server like Shaf as a part of my team would undoubtedly elevate our service to a new level. That's why I would like to extend an invitation to Shaf to come and train my servers at my restaurant. I have no doubt that his expertise and dedication would be a tremendous asset to our establishment. Furthermore, I'm even considering sending some of my current servers to learn from Shaf, as I believe that the skills and knowledge he possesses are truly exceptional. I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Red Lobster restaurant in Saskatoon for having such a wonderful server like Shaf on their team. The overall experience was outstanding, and it's clear that they take great pride in their service and food quality. Thank you once again for a fantastic dining experience, and I look forward to the opportunity of learning from Shaf's expertise in the future. Red Lobster, you have a gem in your staff, and it doesn't...
Read moreUpdate: Red Lobster saw this review and reached out to us in a private message. I would like to say they made this right by sending us a gift certificate and which invited us back to their establishment. Thank you to the Team at Red Lobster. We shall return again.
The food was tasty, but they had zero dressing on the left salad. I mean nothing, just the leaves of lettuce. They asked me if I wanted lobster on my Caesar cocktail or shrimp. It had zero garnish. Salted rim. That was it. Granted, it was very busy, but we had called a week in advance for my daughter's birthday to make a reservation Saturday night at 5pm. They placed us right beside the servers dispensing desk where tgey add up bills and serve water or other. We had four butts facing us the entire meal. Yet we couldn't get out water refilled, nor were we asked if we would like another beverage. In the end, they never even offered the birthday girl ice cream. They instead asked us if we wanted the bill. I had to ask for her to be served ice cream. Fortunately, she was too full and turned it down. The meal was excellent otherwise. Everything was very tasty. Update: The Restaurant as you notice below reached out to me. When I responded to this I was told it would take 24 - 48 hours for a response from their team. Checked my SPAM on the email address they said they would contact me at. Then I received this resoonse: Hi, Brenda. We're so sorry that you have yet to hear from anyone! We will forward your comments to our Guest Relations team who will follow up directly. Thank you. That was a week ago. Today is January 6th, 2024. The date we were at their restaurant was December 2nd. Obviously a scam to make themselves look better in these reviews? ...
Read moreI was very disappointed. The waitress started strong. But then dwindled. Said she was going to refill the biscuits and she was never seen again. When she found out it was my birthday, she said we should have told her, and my thought was why so you could have been more attentive? My sister mentioned that her steak was overcooked and the potato was rotten at one end. They offered her a new potato or a new appetizer to take home. Then I took my young niece and nephew out to the car while my sister waited for the bill. And she waited. And she waited. The server came over to clear plates and my sister asked for the bill. She was told it would be right out. And again she waited. I texted her and told her to go to the host stand and ask for it. She spoke to the manager who said the bill would be right out and again she waited. Almost 20 minutes from the first time she asked for it. They handed back the free dessert coupon I had printed off for my birthday as an apology for the wait. Did it ruin my birthday? No. Did it make a lasting memory? Yes. Was it a good memory? No. Was I disappointed? Yes. Honestly the highlight was my niece getting to touch a live lobster. Will we be back? Doubtful. The sad part was it really...
