Jacky's Exotic Pizza — Restaurant in Saskatoon

Bad. Very bad pizza. We ordered on Skip, and they ended up needing more time, so it took over an hour to get our pizza. This delay would have been fine if the food was good, but it was not. From the menu and claims of “exotic seasoning” we expected some kind of fun Indian/Western cuisine fusion. Instead, it was the blandest pizza I’ve ever tasted. We had an XL mushroom with thin crust and XL Jay Swaminarayan with pan crust, plus the free add-on offer small pizza with steak, mushrooms, and ranch base. All of the toppings were tasteless, so much so that the oregano sprinkle that we added was overwhelming. Meat was poor quality. The crusts were bland and tasteless and the pan and thin crust were indistinguishable, both resembling hand-tossed crust more. Even the cheese was tasteless. Jacky's exotic pizza seems to be a different game changer in Saskatoon with nearly 70+ menu options for pizzas. This is a new store and not under any franchise arrangement so I would give the owner some discount on timings and other arrangements. However, the best part is large choice of vegetarian pizza and different unique flavors (of course you have regular ones). Example: I tried a customized sauce (honey garlic + chipotle) and that was great. I talked to the owner and he seems to have started this from scratch and it was just opened on Saturday (3 days back) and still dealing with initial start up challenges.....but I admire his service and customer orientation. I walked in & said it was my first time there. The guy explained the pricing & 2 for 1 or single and combos.. very thorough & was surprised he took the time but thankful he did; I felt very looked after. I got the Mexican style pizza because it was its own separate category & I found that intriguing!

I got the Beef & Onion enchilada pizza as well as the Italiano enchilada pizza. Made on tortillas instead of pizza crust, so it's very thin, but each pizza is two layers, so it's a good portion. I rolled the slice up like a taquito, easier to eat.
