TLDR; if you haven’t tried it, just choose this place. You won’t regret it, and you’re currently missing out.

Came two days in a row. Cocktails were reasonably priced for the quality, presentation, and service (10-12$).

Second day we came for dinner as we were impressed by the menu on day 1.

Meal begins with an empty table. You are greeted by an incredibly friendly service member. That person will bring you ice water, a wine list (complete with a tour of the selection), complimentary bread rolls, and dinner menus.

The bread rolls are served warm, seasoned with Italian seasoning, and are accompanied by sun-dried tomato butter. They are soft and you receive one per patron.

For my dinner selection I was given options of soups and salads to begin my meal. Greek salad came before my main and was dressed with an authentic dressing of oils and seasoning. It was a more subtle Greek dressing than you would purchase from a grocery store, and that was great.

I ordered the chicken ‘supreme’. It is a chicken thigh cooked to perfection with a creamy sun-dried tomato cream sauce. It was accompanied by Greek potatoes (my selection) and sautéed vegetables (standard accompaniment). Our waiter offered me a steak knife when he noticed I was using the provided butter knife, and I laughed that the chicken was so tender that it wouldn’t be necessary. The potatoes were incredible. They were soft, with a noticeable lemon flavour and light pepper. The vegetables were: green beans, carrots, yellow and green zucchini, Brussel sprouts, and peppers. They were cooked with a purposeful crisp to them, so I wasn’t a fan, but this is a preference and they were objectively prepared well.

She ordered Moussaka. I didn’t eat much but it was received well. It was served in a cast iron dish with a Greek salad and a delicious garlic bread.

Both Greek salads included non-pitted black olives and spring mix.

For dessert we ordered the crème brûlée. It was a reasonable portion for two following a meal and arrived with 5 blueberries and a think sugar crisp on top.

The food was great. The atmosphere was incredible. I could not believe that I was not only in Saskatoon, but that the view out of the patio windows were of a strip mall and parking lot. Looking away from the restaurants surroundings you would believe you were on a Greek coastline.

We reflected on our experience and both agreed that this restaurant would not have been the experience it was without the service. It was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

The bathrooms are clean and high end. The toilet paper is thick and paper towel is high quality.

I don’t live in Saskatoon, but I visit regularly. For the price, and location, this will be my dinner spot. I do not see myself moving on from this establishment until I’ve tried everything they offer, and have gotten sick of whatever I choose as my...

I attended Mano’s with 8 of my family members. We unanimously agreed that this evening was one of the best fine dining experiences we had ever enjoyed.

We were seated promptly on arrival & introduced to our server Tenni. Throughout the evening, Tenni provided us with the utmost care & attention. He always made sure our drinks were full & that we were having a great experience. He stopped by our table multiple times throughout the evening to check on us; the moment a plate was empty, he came to take it away.

Tenni attended to us with precision & provided a supremely positive energy to our evening. When you attend Mano’s, I’d highly recommend asking for Tenni as your server.

I ordered a full rack of Greek ribs, accompanied by a Caesar salad, lemon roasted potatoes & roasted vegetables.

The salad dressing was rich & creamy, with hints of lemon & garlic, and savoury umami undertones. The ribs arrived hot & juicy, they fell off the bone easily & had excellent flavour. The lemon roasted potatoes were okay, lots of lemon flavour but I felt like something was missing. The roasted vegetables were excellent & fresh. Multiple people made comments about how tasty the vegetables were.

I would rate my meal a 9/10. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their food.

For desert I had the Baklava Anaple. This desert was a mix of crunchy pastry & pistachios, topped with whipped cream & finished with icing sugar, brown sugar and pistachios. It came with a scoop of pistachio ice cream. This treat was simply divine & is a must have.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was sublime. When you enter the establishment, you are greeted by a fine wine rack & fireplace. Ambient lighting with soft music playing helps to settle you in for the evening. These qualities create an experience that is extremely comfortable & relaxing. Time passes very easily at Mano’s.

My only regret of this evening is not taking pictures of the food to share with you all.

If you are looking for a great dining experience I would...

Update: I ordered a pizza last night for pickup after work. I hoped for the best but unfortunately it was quite a disappointment. There was a time when two restaurants served the best pizza in Saskatoon, old Venice House and of course Mano's. Given that Mano's has been consistent in the rest of their food quality over the years I was surprised to experience such a drastic change in their pizza. Toppings were sparse (I ordered all dressed but only excluded pepperoni and green peppers), the pineapple and cheese seemed to be a weird consistency and low quality, the outside inch or so had virtually no toppings. Overall not 25% of what it used to be. It appears the days of a delicious, cheesy, loaded pizza are over, all I have left are the memories. I will say the service and speed were exceptional as always. Mano's has always done this well and continues to do so. Thank you for that!

After the many years Mano's has been in business it's hard to believe the food and service are still consistently above average. Food is priced a little high but not excessive in comparison to similar restaurants and the quality is better. I'll definitely give them an A for longevity and...

Not our first family visit to Mano’s on 8th street, and wont be the last, the calamari was really crispy and cooked perfectly and I absolutely would recommend it. The chicken lemon rice soup is a personal fave and is never a miss so I had to have a bowl. As an entree I had the salmon with a stuffed baked potato and veggies as a side. Everything was plated nicely. Unfortunately the veggies were too unseasoned for my liking and the baked potato was kind of dry I suppose, it seemed like it had been somehow dehydrated, but the salmon was good enough, it was cooked right, I added some lemon and salt to it because it was a tad bland. Not sure I would call that a $30 meal, but it wasn’t terrible. The bathrooms are very clean, my daughter even said it “smells nice” when we went in and they are wheelchair friendly, my toddler daughter could reach the sink easily without assistance. Our server Adam was very polite, attentive and well spoken and a overall a great server. Service and atmosphere are definitely something they pride themselves in.
