McDonald's — Restaurant in Saskatoon

This McDonald’s is arguably the worst one I’ve ever been to. This location has gone so downhill over the last year or so. I’m unsure if it’s change of management or ownership or incompetent staff, but literally every single time I order from this location, they manage to get at least one thing wrong.

For example: several days ago, I ordered a cheeseburger. I drive home, open my bag, eager with anticipation, only to find a sloppy Jr Chicken, as opposed to the cheeseburger I ordered. In what I only assume was a semi-psychotic state, fueled by rage, I drove BACK to McDonald’s into the drive thru, receipt and untouched sandwich in hand, and requested the item I ordered. They appeared confused as to why I would be returning an item that was not ordered, aghast as to why a person would want the sandwich listed on the receipt. I got my lukewarm cheeseburger, but there was zero apology for the mix up. This isn’t the first time. I’ve specifically asked for sweet and sour sauce with my McNuggets, countless times, and COUNTLESS TIMES, arrive home and find no sweet and sour sauce. What kind of sociopath eats dry McNuggets? I just found out from my friend that she ordered 2 iced coffees, one with vanilla one without, and when they gave them to her, THEY FORGOT WHICH WAS WHICH. Instead of remaking them, they offered to put an extra shot of vanilla in one of the coffees (??????). WAT.

I don’t know man, I’ve worked in fast food and it sucks and sometimes stuff gets missed, especially when it’s. But EVERY TIME I GO, at least once a week, they mess up. This is madness. I’ve started driving 10 minutes to the Centre Mall location, despite this McD’s being a 1 minute drive away, because at least I know I’ll get what I originally ordered. Every time someone ruins an order at this location, an angel sheds a tear. This location needs desperate prayer because it’s falling apart quicker than one of their poorly assembled burgers. Jesus needs to come back ASAP to perform a miracle on this...

Honestly disappointed. I’ve been to this location many times, and I find that I’m continually surprised at how long the service takes here. It has been a trend, but I kept finding reasons to give them the benefit of the doubt.

This morning however, I was running late for work, and thought I’d skip breakfast at home in favour of picking up something, and decided to go here. At the time, the previous experiences didn’t come to mind. When I drove into the drive through, there was one other car in the line, pulling ahead to window. I put in my order: just a lettuce-wrapped BELT, a hashbrown, and a coffee. I expected it to be a quick and easy order. They asked me to pull up to spot 1 and wait as another car came in behind me.

11 minutes later, they brought the order to me. 11 minutes seems unacceptably long to me for (what I think is) a straight forward breakfast order during non-busy time. Unfortunately, thats what finally convinced me to write this review. I give 2 stars because I’ve never had issue with the food, but the wait is consistently very long.

Tonight my boyfriend and I ordered mobile and it was after 11 pm we did not know that the inside dining closed at 11 and we had to wait in line in the drive threw. When my boyfriend went in he was very rudely yelled at to leave and wait in the drive threw lane . That’s okay we can do that . The order was placed at 11:21 pm we went to what is a double lane drive threw and water until 1250 when we pulled up the lady working the window told us she didn’t have the order . By then they had already cleared the order from the system so my boyfriend couldn’t even provide the QR code . So once I explained that he was told to come in the line up for the drive threw she said never again to order online and just to order at the drive threw . When I went to inform her that there isn’t clear instructions not to come in the store passed 11 she rolled her eyes shut the window and stopped off to prepare the food that wasn’t ready . We received cold soggy fries and colder food . I’m hoping this is rectified because the food was neither convenient or fast .
