Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Saskatoon

I had a disappointing experience at the Pizza Hut on Primrose Avenue today Jan 28th, 2025 around 3:40 PM. I went to order pizza with a friend, and as PhD students in our 4th year at the University of Saskatchewan, we wanted to use the Usask student discount that we’ve used at other branches without any issues.

However, the new staff member we encountered at this branch (whom we hadn’t met before) unexpectedly demanded that we show a class schedule, in addition to our student card (which we are always using only this), to prove our student status! This was confusing and frustrating since we’re in the process of thesis-writing and don’t have traditional class schedules. We’ve never been asked for a schedule at any other Pizza Hut location.

This unnecessary questioning felt unreasonable and out of place, especially when other staff members even in the same location have always been accompdating and professional. It’s really disappointing to see inconsistency in how students...

If I could give it zero stars I would. We ordered delivery, it took an hour to get here. They sent the wrong pizza. I called them and they asked if I wanted the correct pizza to be made and sent. I said yes since that pizza was ordered for someone with allergies (the birthday gir I might add) she has nothing to eat so yes I think you should send out the correct pizza. An hour later still no pizza. We call again and demand to speak to a manager only to find out they made absolutely no attempt to correct their mistake and had still not started making the pizza This is now 2 hours after the original order time. NOW they will make the correct pizza they say.. That was a long time ago.. Obviously they don't care at all about their customers and don't need our business.

Sounds fair to me, you will not get another dime from us. I suggest you order anywhere else. If you're looking for good food and good service you will definitely not find it here! ...

I order from them quite frequently (1-2 times every two weeks) and I must say they are pretty average. Their pizza tastes great, and price is reasonable for sure. Especially if you get their specials or different deals throughout the week. There are however, two things that I disliked quite a bit from my experiences. Firstly, not all the delivery drivers wear their masks properly even after being asked. (I’m not talking under the nose that is would be manageable, I'm talking wearing their mask under their chin. May as well not even wear a mask at that point. Then walking straight into the kitchen!). My second complaint is it seems none of the staff know prices for the specials at all. I am being charged a different price almost every time I go. Maybe it’s the fast rotation in staffing but this should be figured out. Overall though those are my only two complaints and they seem to run a very good business at this location. I will continue to...
