Came here for the first time. It was an early afternoon on a Saturday, and it was fairly busy. We ordered the deep fried wonton, deep fried shrimp and a chicken stir fry.  The wontons were tasty but very small.   The shrimp had an okay taste but was heavily battered.  The chicken stir fry looked good but didn't have any taste other than salt, and a couple of pieces of cauliflower had brown age spots on them. Both of those dishes were a reasonable size.  Steamed rice doesn't come as a side.   The server wasn't overly friendly, but polite enough.  Our orders were slow, with a few minutes gap between receiving each dish. There was a huge gap between receiving the shrimp and the stir fry, and we thought they must have forgotten it, but it finally arrived, after our shrimp was mostly eaten, and we were eating very slowly.  So service was very disappointing, and we weren't much impressed with what we ate. It was a fast-food/mall quality type of food, and we were expecting something more. The restaurant is a bit crowded but appeared clean.

Our guest ordered the XL beef & beef ball rice noodle soup  and said it was good, and we noticed most of the other patrons had ordered pho as well, so we may return just to...

As a sat drinking my cream green avocado shake i couldn't help but notice it was the same shade as the walls. The place itself is like sitting in an avocado... the round doorways and portals like the void left after the pit is removed.

Our waitress was exuberant in her work with an attractive welcoming smile and demeanor. She made asking her questions both easy and inviting with good recommendations to the faire.

Once our decision was made the order was quick to the table.

The fresh rolls were quite good with my preference being to the recommended BBQed pork, though the chicken was no slouch either. The added sprig of basil on the side was a nice touch.

The vermicelli bowls were spot on with fresh veg and extra crisp spring rolls. About the only thing i wasn't perfectly happy with was having my sauce both pre and over added to my noodle bowl.

One thing is certain, i will be back for another avocado shake before...

Ruined our fathers day. Went for father’s day dinner with the family. Got seated. Gave our order and were informed that food may take a while. We thought ok 20 min maybe 30. So we waited and waited. People who have come after us got their food to which we thought ok we should be getting our order soon. Nope 1 hr passed and nothing..we notice we are the only non white family in the restaurant and everyone was getting their food except us. It definitely made us question their servicing priorities based on race. We ask the waitress how much longer it would be and she said not sure about 2 hours and tell us that we can cancel and leave. Another waitress comes and says here is a voucher. So it is almost 7pm we have 2 cranky kids and a voucher to come eat there later. The voucher is not even enough to cover one person. I have never experienced such a bad treatment from a restaurant. We will definitely not be going here or...

I have visited many Vietnam restaurants in town, this is the best place to have Pho and some other southeast Asian dishes. We have ordered a Chicken and Shrimps Pad Thai, all of us love this dish with little bit sweet and sour flavour. Not as dry as stir fired noodles. The best Pad Thai in town. The Beef and Beef Ball noodles soup also tasted great. Not too much MSG, and still taste fresh and delicious. The soup is the key, if too much MSG, you will feel very salty and very thirsty after eating. The renovation is bright and clean, I like it so much. Most restaurants are pretty dark style with full of sunlight get through the window, which makes you feel upset. Here has very gentle lighting and comfortable. PS: the photo shows the beef and beef ball noodle soup

Summer Roll is another locally owned restaurant in Saskatoon’s north end. In terms of service and offerings I’d like to give the venue a 5 star review. However, to best suit representation on Google I believe a 4 star rating is the most accurate! Summer Roll is always a great place to visit. The food offerings are authentic, affordable, and full of flavour. I personally enjoy the fact the SummerRoll delivers and always has a daily special offered. This restaurant is comfortable and great for couples, groups, and families with young kids! Something else I’d like to mention is that SummerRoll is associated with another Saskatoon restaurant... That restaurant is Fong’s Kitchen on Faithfull Ave and 51st St!
