First and foremost, naming a restaurant "Kashmere" doesn't make it a Kashmiri Restaurant, I being a Kashmiri myself was craving for that authentic Kashmiri cuisine and aroma of spices, but what I found in this restaurant was nothing but an attempt of overloading every dish with extra oil and spice in hope of turning it across. We had mutton seekh kebab which was cold. We had Lamb rista which was nothing but a meat ball curry made out of onions and tomatoes, tasted really bland. Note: No Kashmiri dish has onions or tomatoes in it. We had Rogan josh which was a bad version of mutton curry, forget about Rogan josh. Service was very slow, in first glance I liked the ambience by looking at the ceiling which was done with a Kashmiri curtain, but the flooring was so dirty that our shoes were sticking to it, tables were also very dirty. On top of everything, they charge premium prices, Overall experience was really bad.

The food at this little restaurant was delicious! I am not an expert on Indian cuisine (or regionally similar), but I have eaten at numerous restaurants across the country, and I enjoyed the food here. The atmosphere was quaint, and there were “cabana”-type tables at the end for a couple of groups to enjoy. It was an extensive menu and explained the dishes well — some I was not familiar with. The waitress was young and not overly attentive, but she was great at recommendations. The one thing that was disappointing was that it seemed like the cleaner they had extensively used on the tables and menus ate the finish off the tables and left a sticky residue on table and menus. Otherwise, I hope to be back!

I ordered from here for the first time. I ordered online to pick up food and got 10% discount. Yippi ! ☺️ The location is great if you are ride sharing or travelling by bus Caz getting a parking spot is hard on Broadway. The staff were great. They were friendly and polite and well versed. The food was fresh. I ordered three different types of curries, both veg and non veg. Yakhni, Rogan Josh and Malai kofta. Yakhni is a yoghurt based sauce and was a bit sour to taste. I use yoghurt in my cooking and there r ways to balance the sourness of yoghurt. I am not sure if it is supposed to taste sour or not! The other two curries were very good! Portion size was okay too. Over all, a 4 star rating is deserved.

An extension of the Spice Trail in Prince Albert, their food was so good it had us driving from Stoon to PA just for supper. Now that they have a location in town, my spouse and I could not be happier! We were welcomed liked family at the Spice Trail and got the same experience here. I have read some of these other reviews, and cannot help but think that the poor reviews did not go to the same restraunt that we did! (If they went at all and are not just downvotes from competitors in the market.).

Their food is amaising, the atmosphere and drinks are phenominal, and my favourite is how they are willing to quieten the spice for those with gentler palates while still being willing to make authentic Indian cuisine in all it's glory, flavour and spice for those of us who have tastes from around the globe! Truly a place where traditional recipes and complex spicing are made accessible to everyone, regardless of how much heat tolerance you have!

We can not give higher praise to the Kashmere, or it's parent restraunt, the Spice Trail! I have such faith in them that I invite anyone to go, the food, the flavours and the quality will, speak for themselves! Come taste for yourself what the...

I am reviewing my meal I ordered from Kashmere restaurant in Saskatoon. For my first ever time trying them I ordered for delivery lamb Rogan Josh and Tandoori Roti and some Mango Lassi drinks. Overall the website was very easy to order from which I appreciated. The delivery was relatively fast also and the food was packed well. so they get good marks on all that.

That being said the biggest negative I had was the lamb Rogan Josh. It was very greasy and very fatty minus just a few bites that were nice and tender. Overall it was just way to greasy to be enjoyable for me and I would not recommend that dish the way it was served to me.

The Tandoori Roti though was quite good overall and a nice serving size. The mango lassi drinks were quite nice also and would recommend both those items.

Overall I found ordering very easy at Kashmere and some of the menu items I tried were good but my entree was a big disappointment. I just cannot rate it 3 stars due to this and had to give 2. Or I would of given 2.5...

Went there last Friday, very busy so some waiting but food was well worth the wait. Undoubtably best Indian food in Saskatoon , well recommended. This was last week but see below

Updated: ignore everything I said above. The quality of the food and service has collapsed. Put aside that last night we waited an hour for our food, they were clearly focused on filling the skip the dishes orders over and above seated customers. The real issue is over the food itself. On our previous three visits the food was excellent, subtle aromatic high quality and delicious. Last night they must they must have lost the chef: the food was poorly cooked lower quality ingredients and had lost all the delicacy of flavour. We asked to the see the Maneger and just got another server, we the explained the situation and got poor excuses and more importantly that didn’t either recognize the issue or address the final bill. Strongly recommend going...
