The Broadway Bridge is a great bridge for many things in Saskatoon. It is used for everything from vehicles traffic going both directions to a pedestrian walkway on both sides of traffic that is also available to cyclists and runners and more to get to the other side of the river. The walkway is not one of the widest but can still pass people going the same direction as you on either side but be respectful when passing others. This bridge connects to Rotary Park and Broadway Avenue on one side and on the other it connects to downtown,Spadina Crescent and Kiwanis Park. The bridge is shut down a couple times a year for events such as the Canada Day fireworks and the September long weekend fireworks shows due to the fireworks being shot off the bridge.
