The food was prepared and ready INSANELY fast—they had our food out and ready in less than 15 minutes, and it was all insanely good food. I honestly think that they had some of the best fries I've ever had—the perfect amount of crisp, really well seasoned, and still hot and fresh from the fryer, and their shakes were also the perfect consistency and amazing flavour.

The atmosphere of the place was also amazing. Its a cute vintage diner: the walls are plastered with photos 50s celebrities (Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, etc.), the colours are all super vibrant, everything. Its a gorgeous little place.

One last thing to mention: my dad and I were just standing outside deciding if we wanted to eat there, and one of the workers came outside and said "Hey! We're still open, but the kitchen closes in 7 minutes if you want to eat!" If they hadn't come out to grab us, we wouldn't have known that the place was starting to close for the day.

I love the Broadway cafe but boy, some of the prices are absurd.

The staff is always crazy friendly, super accommodating and obviously focused on making their customers happy. As far as quality and service go, it’s pretty tough to think of a restaurant that beats these guys out. I can’t honestly think of a time that the food hasn’t been top notch.

And then you catch a glimpse of the price of two eggs on the side and think...doesn’t 3 dozen go for about that in the store? I mean, there’s premium and then there’s that. Almost $10 for two eggs on the side is kind of over the top, and that’s not the only menu item like that.

The mains aren’t priced too badly for the most part and the coffee is...mmm!...perfect!! But tread carefully when ordering if the bill is at all...

Honestly, server was fine (nothing amazing, rushed us at the end), food tasted good, but found a hair under my meal- they didn't bother to check in how everything went at the end, so I had to let the hostess at the front know about the hair. No compensation for the fact I had to waste the last half of my meal. Got a, word for word "Ohh, that's too bad.. I guess I could let the back know later.." and then silence as I paid full price for a meal I couldn't finish, because of a hair in it. Quite disappointed, would've liked to go back, but the experience really soured my opinion of this place. Overall, not a bad food spot, but for the service and hospitality alone, I wouldn't recommend anyone go here anymore. Lost my respect for the business,...

We had a very tough day on Friday. We were in Saskatoon as we had our horse at the University with the hopes there was something miraculous they could do to help him. (the horse on the right... Victor) Unfortunately, the best decision was to put him down. We went for lunch after to the Broadway Café. Needless to say I was a mess, and cried through my meal. The very nice waitress told me our meal is on the house and that she hopes our day gets better. The act of kindness went a long way. It is nice to know there are good people out there. Thank you so much kind waitress. Next time we are in Saskatoon, we will for sure be back. The food was amazing. My borscht soup was delicious.

Great experience from start to finish. Very busy restaurant. The staff are welcoming attentive and knowledgeable. Dillon my server today suggested the breakfast nest? (I don't remember the actual name) what a great recommendation! The dish came out quickly and the food was piping hot! It was delicious and satisfying. The coffee was fresh and complimented the food. The retro decor is a nice touch. Wanted to say the service provided by Dillon was great and I definitely will return often. The cashier lady (never got her name) was very welcoming and enhanced the experience also. Keep up the good work Broadway Cafe!

A great place to eat! My girlfriend and I popped in on Easter Monday and we were not disappointed. The service was great and fast, the food was excellent. I even had the novel experience of having to eat a hot dog with a knife and fork, just because there was so much there, in the way of topping etc. My girlfriend had the mushroom burger and said it was one of the best burgers she has ever had. The decor is in a 1950's esq theme and really brings character to the place. I would definitely recommend this place and will almost certainly be coming back.
