Black Cat Tavern — Restaurant in Saskatoon

I had a good grilled cheese and potatoes. However, as a performer I have a few critiques. As an underage performer (at the time) Saskatchewan laws allow me to be present in the bar as long as I stay in a certain area and am not consuming alcohol. The promoter had told us this so we complied. However, when I went to use the bathroom and was walking back to the corner, the promoter came up to me and cussed me out for not following rules. In our email to book the show, no one mentioned a fee of 250$ for the rental so when we walked away feeling scammed, we called back to find that there was a rental fee. Honestly, really rude behaviour and needs better communication...

Not a ton of seating but great service. The french onion soup had a good flavor but the onions weren’t caramelized and the bread made it bland. Skip the garlic toast, too bland. The roasted potatoes were cooked a bit too much and a bit oily but my friend liked them. She also liked the pizza sandwich, which was well filled. The other friend liked the quesadilla, which was a good size, and particularly enjoyed the house salad. All in all not bad, good price, and great service. Id come back to try...

I am a nacho lover. I order nachos at least 2x a month and often get an appetizers of them when dining in. I have been on the search for the best nachos and have been let down greatly. I ordered nachos from BCT swapped the jalapeños for pineapple. These are the Best nachos i have found. Next time i will add green pepper too. But these are the best i have found. HUGE portion, lots of toppings and cheese.. will definately be ordering again.
