I normally don’t leave bad reviews but my family and I just had a really bad experience with this pizza.
It is sad because we are new in town and heard great things about the food scene in Saskatoon and our first food order in the city turned out to be pretty disappointing. We ordered one plain cheese and one pepperoni pizza, which took about one hour to be delivered but since we read good reviews and the pictures in the menu looked amazing we figured that hey, good things take time so, we didn’t mind. Sadly, our pizzas were not only not good but pretty bad actually.
The pepperoni one had too much cheese in it (we didn’t order extra cheese or anything), the crust was so thin that it got completely soaked in the sauce which made the texture pretty upsetting and for some reason the pepperoni was not on top of the cheese so it didn’t have that crispy texture and in any case there was so much cheese in the pizza that you could barely taste it. The plane cheese pizza was a little better, with the amount of cheese and sauce more evenly balanced but both the cheese and sauce had no exceptional taste whatsoever. Again, the crust was way too thin (almost comparable to a flour tortilla) which made things equally disappointing.
On top of all this, the cost for these two pizzas was pretty high and, It’s not that I mind paying a higher price for food but it’s definitely not a good feeling spending a lot of money for lower than average food. We were also charged 8 dollars for the delivery on top of the tip which was not very clear while ordering.
No intend to just criticize but I hope that sharing our experience helps the business get better, after all, the branding they have is fantastic and the menu really invites customers to order but this might get tricky when setting expectations really high. When this happens, I think it’s important for any business to try to be up to those expectations or you risk getting a bad review :(
I really hope this review is helpful for the restaurant, it is always better to support local businesses but most families watch out for our spends and really appreciate value of the food, mostly when it comes to food.
Thanks and...

We visited mid-afternoon to celebrate a friend’s birthday with a few cocktails during Happy Hour. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in several ways.
The half-price sangrias were mostly ice and served in half-filled wine glasses, which felt misleading for a promoted special. Seeing as the sangrias were essentially half a glass, we ordered two at a time. Along with our drinks, we ordered a couple of appetizers to enjoy while we visited.
After our third round of Happy Hour drinks, we were told we could not be served any more cocktails unless we ordered main courses—reportedly due to liquor laws.
However, according to SLGA liquor regulations, patrons may be served alcohol as long as they are not disruptive or showing signs of intoxication. In our case, we were neither. This seemed more like an internal policy intended to push food sales rather than a legal requirement.
To make matters worse, the Happy Hour promotion felt like false advertising—implying it was meant for casual enjoyment, but in reality, it appeared limited to only one or two drinks before pressure was applied to order full meals.
We are not young partygoers, nor were we unruly. We had eaten earlier and simply didn’t have an appetite for entrees at that time. On most visits, we typically order full meals, but this occasion was an exception.
What was meant to be a relaxed and lighthearted celebration turned into a disappointing and frustrating experience. Unfortunately, the restaurant not only lost somewhat regular customers, but also any positive word-of-mouth we might have shared.
Funny how we could have ordered a full price cocktail off the menu but not a Happy Hour cocktail. Why not specify a limit if you are going to create your own policy? ...
Read moreMy family and I decided to give this place a try. I must say it was a very good decision, I am one to not try new places very often but so glad I did. My daughter is also a picky eater, however; she tried everything we ordered and did not complain once. Being our first time here and definitely not our last, we had questions. Our waitress I don't recall her name, was so amazing answering and explaining stuff to us which made the experience much more injoyable.
The Kale ceaser salad was absolutely amazing and the portion was alot bigger then we expected, so much so that my wife and I had enough for each of us to take for lunch today.
We ordered two pizzas one cheese and one carnivore with the added extras. Both pizzas were amazing the crust was perfectly done and had a bit of a crunch to it, the perfect amount of cheese, and the perfect amount of toppings.
For dessert my daughter had I think ice cream (had a different name in the menu) and my wife and I had cheese cake. I should have listened when our waitress said two spoons to share, I replied no we aren't sharing two cheese cakes. Looking back we should have shared. Either way it was really good.
We will be back as we have already discussed inviting some people along next time, when we do return I really hope the waitress we had is working.
Edit: I also forgot to mention that my daughter was so fascinated watching the cooks make the pizza, her favorite was watching the cook toss the pizza dough. She said it...
