RICE BOX — Restaurant in Saskatoon

This was a bizarre experience. We walked in to a cashier who offered three different concepts/menus. It was quite confusing. After placing the order standing up in the entrance we were asked to sit in an empty space upstairs; we were the only customers. A voice came over the PA and we had to go downstairs to pick up our food. The bulgogi I was OK. The bibimbop was terrible. The egg was overfried and tough as rubber. The flavours not big enough. The portion so small I could have eaten a burger after. This establishment needs some help getting the concept...

Went to this restaurant for the first time last night and wasn't expecting much when I first walked in. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the employees were when we entered.

Ordered one of their beef dishes and was really happy to find that the dish was very flavorful. I'm usually one to add soy sauce to my rice, but the rice was perfectly fine without it. The rice was light, fluffy and stuck together just enough to eat with chopsticks.

I definitely look forward to the next time I go...

A different but good experience. Japanese food but Spanish jazz playing in the speakers. The portion size was okay, but next time I'll add a side dish. Paying first and ordering before you're seated worked, but I wonder about when they're busy..
