T J's Pizza 8th St Saskatoon — Restaurant in Saskatoon

I ordered takeout tonight using a coupon for a pound of Dry ribs for $6, 2 Extra Large Pizzas & told them I am a VIP customer & get 10% off. The VIP Fridge Magnet was given to us about 4-5 yrs ago because we were such regular customers. We have always used their coupons, $4 off, or whatever they have on offer, & always mention the VIP status & always get 10% off in addition to the coupon. It isn't a coupon, it doesn't say on it that it can't be used with coupons, when we were given it we were told to use it when we order, as a reward for being long standing customers. However, tonight we get called back by someone with a power complex, who hasn't realized it's the customers that drive the business, & in effect pay the employees. She said I could only use one coupon. I explained it isn't a coupon, & she said it is. I said we have always used it with coupons & never had problems. She said I couldn't use it with another coupon, it was one or the other! I said cancel the order. She seemed happy to do it. They have now lost a regular customer over about $4.95. Funny tho, even with the 10% off & the coupon for $6 ribs, so $46.25, Venice House's total for the same order with no coupons or discount comes to $48.75, & they have Honey Mustard Sauce, TJ's doesn't. Hmmm a difference of $2.50, interesting. I know where I will be getting pizza...

WORST SERVICE! DO NOT HONOR THEIR WORD OR ADVERTISING! Where do I begin, had people over, call 8th location to order 3- 2 for 1 pizzas.. should of resulted in 6 pizzas only 3 pizzas came on delivery. Lets start back at the beginning shall we: When ordering I asked dispatch/guy taking my order if the following pizzas were apart of 2 for 1- Chicken bacon ranch, Cheese, and gluten free Hawaiian, he replied that all were included in the 2 for 1 deal. great! So I order all 3 of those pizzas 2 for 1, when delivery came, only had 3 pizzas and a bill for 47$ Explained to delivery guy what I wanted/ordered and called the store back explaining what I had wanted and what dispatch had guaranteed me. Went back and forth for a long while, they weren't willing to honor what they initials said, but for now they will send out 3 more pizzas. When those 3 pizzas came, the delivery man says "we upgraded your pizzas for the inconvenience" okay sweet... then he follows with "that will be 21$" WTF are you kidding me, explained again the initial situation and called the manager again politely explaining that they will lose my business for good, and that 2 for 1 pizza should be exactly that; 2 FOR 1! I don't not recommend TJ pizza at all.

Good place for above average or premium quality pizza. I like their chicken supreme and pepperoni pizza. Not all TJ's pizza locations I have enough experience with, however, according to the location on 8th St E, close to the Superstore, Saskatoon east: Here are the couple of good things: Very friendly service. They also ask if you need extra free toppings, but most of the pizza places does not really care to talk about; however, this place offers you most.
