My friend and I ordered their restaurant’s signature: 24 OUNCE Swathers Cut, which contains a 24 ounce beef, two mashed potatoes, a side dish (mainly different kinds of carrots), and three Toast balls. 1. The service is basically no problem. A man serves us, he is very polite and can fully meet the needs of customers. 2. The beef we want is 5 minutes of ripeness. Personally, this is the best ripeness of this beef. The meat quality of the beef itself is also very good. There is only one fascia. The beef is smooth and tender, on the edge. You can eat beef fat. Butter will fill your mouth. They are great. Since we were eating slowly, we asked to reheat the beef half the time, but the taste was worse than before (this is our problem). The sauce with beef is thinner and does not cover the beef, and the salt taste is relatively light, but I think this combination is very good, because this sauce does not cover the aroma of the beef itself, it is more like Chinese food Gravy in the marinade. Different kinds of radishes are used as side dishes. They are large and older radishes. They taste a bit like fruits. They are seasonal ingredients. They are good grilled foods and can eliminate the fatigue caused by meat. As a staple food, mashed potatoes are a classic American food collocation. The taste of the potatoes themselves is still maintained after turning into mashed potatoes, which is very good. The toasted bread balls, because they were hot at first, were crispy and had a buttery fragrance, but the thyme flavor was too strong, and I doubt it was a red lobster semi-finished product sold by costco (not that the semi-finished product is not bad) , But pay attention to the restaurant itself) (This bread ball is recommended to be eaten with your hands, because they are too crisp) 3. The restaurant itself is very stylish, and the door is a warm fireplace. In Saskatoon, a warm fireplace will It greatly increases the goodwill of customers towards the restaurant when they first enter the restaurant. The overall structure of the restaurant is reasonable, the overall atmosphere is not noisy, and there is enough privacy space. The decorations on the wall let me know that the boss is a man of good taste, such as the wooden propeller. 4. In the end, the two of us spent $60. This food portion is basically enough. Compared with their beef, it is very cost-effective. 5. The reason for not getting five stars is that the restaurant does not allow drinks from outside. This is a bit of an overlord clause. For the benefit of the restaurant, I can understand it. However, before the customer leaves, the restaurant should take the initiative to return the drink to the customer, because the restaurant took the initiative to request it and take it away. Obviously, I did not get my coffee back. Summary: The overall restaurant is worth five stars. It is a good place for dates, celebrations, and delicious food, but the small details make you lose a star, and you can do better.

The experience was decent. The atmosphere was nice. The prime rib was good. My wife's filet mignon was good. The waiter Aiden was attentive enough, but the up-selling really got in the way of the experience. What should be a pleasant experience was tarnished by the constant up selling, and it felt like I was buying a used car from a greasy salesman. The constant up selling did not align with the rest of the experience. For example. My wife ordered wine. I ordered a coke. His disappointment that I wasn't ordering alcohol was very apparent (maybe I'm a recovering alcoholic?). I ordered an 8oz prime ribbon. He took the order and then came back after taking the order to try to sell me a bigger prime rib. "No, thank you". Wife orders a filet mignon, tries again :"Do you want a lobster tail with that?". I'm sure that management is giving him kudos for up-selling, but I find it quite irritating. My wife and I were having an intimate discussion, and instead of waiting for an appropriate pause, he interrupted our discussion mid-sentence. He brought our drinks and brought me a Pepsi but failed to mention it was a Pepsi when I had ordered a Coke. Not a big deal, but that attention to those little details like that are what separates a finer dining experience.

What a beautiful restaurant. My boyfriend and I celebrated our first anniversary at the same place as we had our first date and I couldn’t recommend it more. Reservations were made however it was a quiet Tuesday night so it really wasn't necessary but it’s always a good idea to do so (especially weekends). Our service was impeccable. We were immediately asked if we'd been there before and if we were celebrating anything special. We ordered alcoholic beverages (the mojito was fantastic), a crab dip and really large Caesar salad for appetizers; The appetizers filled us right up and we could barely enjoy our main courses! My boyfriend ordered the stuffed pork chop which came with vegetables and a side of his choice. I ordered the Oscar chicken that came with the same options. I couldn't recommend the garlic mashed potatoes or French fries more for your sides...they were perfect. Both meals were absolutely phenomenal! Lastly, our server graciously offered a dessert on the house to celebrate our beautiful milestone. The brownie came out warm with a sparkler and melted in your mouth. Our experience at The Granary was so beautiful and made us feel so special. We definitely recommend it for any birthday or date night.

Well I hate writing bad reviews but I cant leave this one alone and im shocked to see that more people havnt said something about last sundays brunch (fathers day). my family and I were so excited to hear that the granary was having a sunday brunch. I called and chatted with someone there and they told me about the items on the brunch including their prime rib and how amazing it was. we discussed how so many of the brunches have slid in the last few yrs and theres nowhere to go for very good Sunday brunch anymore. now I'm not expecting the Bellagio but I would expect something considerably better than what we experienced . there were 4 of us and excitement turned dismal as soon as we lifted the lid of the prime rib and got the waft of bad meat or at least very very old freezer burnt triple warmed up meat....something was off...the lady beside me said oh my that has quite the aroma...I wont be trying that today. myself and 3 others I was with went to that station separately and when back at the table asked our server about the meat...we each tried a bite and spit it out back onto the plate. our server said well there was a lot more to choose from....we can have bacon scrambled eggs sausages eggs benny and made to order omelets anywhere...the draw was to the granary because of the prime rib on the brunch buffet of one of the flagship prime rib restaurants in saskatoon. In fairness the sausages were good and the eggs benny passable and the chicken dish very tasty as well...the ribs...well lets say they were edible but only one notch above the prime rib that was not edible. I'm very surprised that the granary with as great a reputation would not have the brunch at perfection especially when they are attempting to build that event on Sunday. my family are very disappointed and upset on how things were handled. people don't be scared to speak up for I know for a fact we weren't the only patrons to experience this. It wasn't very much money at all but any amount is too much with food quality like it was. Id rather it be $10-$15.00 more per person and have a carving station and up the food quality instead of serving rotten beef...its too bad...we were hoping we has found our new sunday...

The Granary used to be a great place to go, but in the past few years it has gone downhill.

Most recently, we went here for my sister's birthday and everything was a disaster from the start. I had reserved a table for 4 for the special occasion and we were seated in the lounge at a small table so I was not impressed.

The server took over 10 minutes to first wait on us, and she was awful: she looked sad, spoke very quietly, did not know the specials, etc. It took another 7 - 8 minutes to receive our first drinks. She took our order and we all got steaks. The food took over an hour, and my sister, the birthday girl, received a prime rib instead of the steak she ordered. We told the server, and she brought the manager over. The manager was very rude and told my sister that's what she ordered so that's what she gets. I spoke up and confirmed I know she ordered a steak, and this is not a steak. After bickering with me for a few minutes the manager finally offered to get her the steak, but it would take over 25 minutes (she gets it cooked medium rare). We were already on a time crunch since we had bowling booked afterward, so we had to decline the steak.

The meals we did get are overpriced for the portions you get. However, the steak is seasoned well and tasted good.

When the bill came we noticed the prime rib was still on the bill. I asked why the meal was not taken off the bill since it is not what we ordered, and since my sister only had a few bites as she was disappointed. The manager told me we kept it so we have to pay for it. I have personally been in the hospitality industry for over 15 years and this is completely unacceptable. So, again, I had to bicker with the manager and in the end, she would only give us 25% off.

We will...
