As Duffy's own signage indicated repetitiously, this fishy restaurant needs help. The waitresses were working so hard, and yet we waited a long time to place our orders. I could not get the Philly steak meal that I wanted from their menu, so selected the fish taco wrap. We regret that we gave a 15% tip. To bad we ordered for take-out and not eat at at Duffy's out-of-doors arangment. Three people, paying over sixtyfive dollars for three small meals included not any desserts nore beverages, will not return for a second try. What the Duff is this F restaurant fame for, chip your wallet. Don't get hooked on Duffy's line little fishies, swim away! My girlfriend's cat will not help her finish eating her little battered fish portion. I would surely eat more of there chips if Duffy didn't charge money for them.

Yummmmmmmmy fish and chips! 1 the fish was very fresh and just a light amount of the breading! Was realy really good!! Staff were very kind- the location was quite busy when we were there and they were very communicative about the order taking a bit longer than normal. There are umbrellas outsidr and many tables outsidr but also ability to sit inside to eat now. Staff wear masks for safety and proper covid protocols are followed. Thank you!

Three of us went for dinner. All of our meals tasted fabulous. Value for money was very good. Prices were very reasonable. Kitchen was a little slow meals came out at different times but otherwise service was excellent.

We walked in and instantly you feel underwhelmed by the restaurants appearance and atmosphere. Very dreary and outdated. However appearance sometimes is deceiving so we gave it a chance and the waitress who greeted us in passing was polite. Although none of the staff actually look like they work there as they all were wearing casual street clothing. The table at the front entrance blocks the limited space at the entry where you get to look at the menu to even order for takeout so you’re constantly having to move out of the waitress’s way as she has to go outside and around the building to serve people. We were told 20 minutes for food so no problem go for a walk to the beach and back. Told again that we have to wait another 10 minutes not ideal for take-out but okay understandable. After giving them 15 minutes we go inside again and the kid, lucky if he’s 18 goes to check and comes back it’s still not ready. When asked how much longer his response was “I don’t know”. I’m sorry but when you order fish cakes for one person and three orders of poutines it shouldn’t take that long. Especially after seeing other people’s reviews and the photo of the poutine. Not even real cheese curds for 13.00 with that kind of wait time? Yeah we left without our food. Not only will we never come back, but I won’t be recommending this restaurant to anyone. Seems like this is a similar experience for others. Might be a sign you should consider making some changes. Also 3 minutes away is Gerry’s Fast Food and not only was it cheaper but it was great food, a large portion, and the three different people we interacted with were polite, had a great sense of humour, and even apologized for the experience we had at...

There's something deeply comforting about traditional dishes done right, and Duffy's Famous Fish & Chips stands as a testament to this culinary philosophy. Dining there with my family was not just a meal; it was an experience infused with warmth, flavor, and nostalgia.

As we settled into our seats, the cozy ambiance of Duffy's immediately set the tone for a delightful evening. There's an undeniable charm to the place, a blend of classic décor and genuine hospitality that feels both timeless and inviting.

Now, onto the star of the evening – the food. The fish was impeccably fried to golden perfection, boasting a crispy exterior that gave way to succulent, flaky fish within. Paired with their signature chips, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. It's evident that Duffy's isn't just serving food; they're serving tradition, passion, and decades of culinary expertise on a plate.

But beyond the delicious food, it was the attentive service and the family-friendly atmosphere that truly made our dinner special. The staff were always on hand, ensuring our needs were met with genuine smiles and a keen eye for detail.

In conclusion, Duffy's Famous Fish & Chips is more than a restaurant; it's a celebration of culinary heritage, a place where families come together to relish in the simple joys of life and food. For anyone seeking an authentic and heartwarming dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Duffy's. Here's to many more memorable family dinners at this wonderful...

Stopped in for a quick bite while driving through on the way down to Sarina. The place was small but not cramped. And the decor was really nice and eclectic. Very cozy feel. I started off with a fish bisque which was very good, but didn't have any chunks of the fish as I was expecting. The bits of fish were quite tiny, more like flakes, as were the other ingredients. But the broth was very good. It was a large serving as well. For my main dish I had the fish and chips which was one of the lunch specials. The waitress had described the fish portions as being 2 good size pieces of fish about 3 fingers wide. Well mine was much smaller than described. I had 1 small (2 finger using her scale) piece and 1 (1 finger) size piece. It was tasty with a light breading and fried to perfection. Not oily or dripping grease. Just not big enough. My wife had their take on a lobster roll, (also a lunch special) which was a seafood salad like affair with lettuce on a bun. She said it was good tasting but again no chunks of lobster meat could be seen. Prices were a bit to high for what you got (except for the bisque) which was the best bang for the buck. Also after reading reviews from others after we left, maybe the problem was getting the lunch specials. The reviews seem to be positive for the regular items. We may try Duffy's again next time we are...
