Even in the coldest winter it tastes like spring with every bite.
There's presently renovations ongoing in the large section which we are excited for for our family to view and partake in when it is open in the large section. For now there's a small section open that can still seat plenty and it is so so so very pretty within. You will LOVE it and possibly gasp as we did! I don't take pictures, but imagine cherry blossom tree theme and cherry blossom pink colour with sword grey. It's a beautiful mixture of colours for just you alone, you on a date, an outing with a coworker for lunch or dinner, or a special or regular outing.
The food is AMAZING. If you have gluten sensitivities there's a menu for you. If you're not into meat there's food for you. If you're a meat eater there's a plate too just for you. I have never had such a burst of flavours in my mouth or be thinking about a restaurant's food for days in anticipation to taste it again until now. It is a gem!! The food is filling and tastes fresh and looks fresh and the presentation is gorgeous. I could go on. Each recipe has been personally crafted with care and deliberation to ingredients and flavours by the owner and her staff is highly skilled in recreating the taught recipes (We were nosy and asked lol, we were becoming obsessed with the food). You will not taste identical similar dishes anywhere else, at least we have yet to.
The service of the staff is always with a smile and pleasant and the owner and servers make great effort to know your name and refer to you by it for a more personalized touch which is really great. It really goes a long way.
Also they make their own Vietnamese ham here and its added usually to the meat soups in a delicate slice. It's fresh and tastes SO good. It's not tofu!
Highly recommend if you are a local or just passing through. I recommend at least 1 appetizer with your main and it is worth it. You'll leave highly satisfied and knowing you will return! A++++++...
Read moreI ordered the Queen pho, which the restaurant advertised as having a clear broth. However, when my order arrived, I was disappointed to find that the broth was instead cloudy, lacking the clarity and vibrant flavors of true Vietnamese pho. The restaurant claims to offer authentic Vietnamese cuisine, yet my bowl came without the typical accompaniments such as fresh lime, crisp bean sprouts, or aromatic herbs like basil and cilantro. To add to my frustration, there were no small sauce dishes for condiments, which is a standard practice in authentic Vietnamese dining.
The price for this bowl of pho was a shocking $25, especially considering the meager portions of meat and noodles. There was barely enough to justify the cost, making the whole experience feel like a rip-off.
My wife opted for a steamed rice bowl that was supposed to come with a pork chop. Instead, she was served thinly sliced pork belly, resembling the overly processed bacon you might find at fast-food restaurants like McDonald's. The portion was also stingy, lacking the vibrant pickled carrots and daikon that were promised on the menu.
As someone who is Vietnamese and frequently prepares these dishes at home, I can confidently state that there was nothing authentic about this meal. I would strongly advise anyone in search of genuine Vietnamese flavors to steer clear of this...
Read moreThis place was a dissapointment. Tried the pho soup, base was not flavourful until you added extra spice (which you pay extra for) and the soup was warm, not hot. Left still hungry and payed way more than what the meal was worth. Havent been back since.
Response to owner- Im not being unkind, i am being honest. There is a difference. 24 hours to cook a broth doesnt mean it is good. 18.99 with tax is over 20$ I have eaten pho in several places from the west coast to toronto. I wasnt about to state that for it is irrelevent. Truthfully i was exited to try your food. It was not worth the wait tho sadly. I havent been back in months. The chili oil you make is the only flavourful thing in the dish i had. (Which we were told was at the extra price- not free)Still didnt justify the price. The only reason i gave a two star review was because the waitress we had was polite. I do not need my money back thank you. Id rather just not waste my money or time. I am not the only one that has had poor food and service from your establimshment. Im just not afraid to tell you and others my experience. Dont let the "5 star reviews" fluff your ego. Take the honest critism or dont. I care not. Ps, trying to call out your customers by not recognizing their name if they give a review you dont approve of is petty. Trust me i got the...
